One of the best purchases I have made. I use it on a pellet stove. For 2 weeks since I bought it, I have been removing the ash daily without the filter getting clogged. Cleaning the outer filter is very easy if you place it in a bag and shake it lightly. The only thing that bothered me is that the spiral comes out of the bucket easily many times, but for me, this is not enough to take away a star. Generally, I wholeheartedly recommend the small vacuum for pellet ash. For a fireplace or wood stove, I don't know if this particular one would be suitable since the bucket is relatively small and it might get burned by some lit charcoal.

Two filters.. one HEPA and one like a washable fabric! Very important. It would be good to get the thick ones with a small broom and dustpan so that with one move you can take the rest with the broom so it doesn't get hot.
The fabric filter catches ash quickly, but if you put it in a bag and gently tap it with your hand from the inside, the ash comes out and it's ready for use again... this filter needs cleaning every time. The only negative. But as for usefulness, it is very good and small. If you are consistent in cleaning the fireplace, you need 1 minute to clean it with this one.
