It supports data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps and is compatible with older USB 2.0/1.1 devices. It is ideal for connecting USB 3.0 flash and hard drives. It has a built-in DC port for external power supply.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Cheap construction, I bought it to connect 4 wired controllers with a USB extender of several meters. Unfortunately, the controllers disconnect sometimes and then they don't reconnect with anything.
It happened several times with both 4 controllers and 2.
When I connected it directly to the PC, I didn't have any issues, but I didn't try it many times this way to say for sure.
In summary, for devices that don't require as much "power" as 4 controllers, it will work correctly. However, don't buy it if you want to connect other devices.
Editing, final evaluation [Saturday, February 19, 2022]. I bought the Powertech PT-705 because my desktop computer has a small ASRock motherboard.
Which only has 4 USB 2.0 ports. I was using all 4 of the Powertech PT-705 ports.
It is convenient, in terms of design, only. Because it has the USB 3.0 ports placed parallel. And not in a circular arrangement like some competing products, clearly more reliable, TP - Link.
Its cable is short. So, when I connect it to a USB 2.0 port, it hangs in the air, which may bother some people. I don't have a big problem with it.
Its plastic looks cheap. But it is at least very lightweight. I emphasize here that it is not a Type C to USB. But the old type.
After about 2 years of decent operation. It stopped being recognized by my desktop computer completely.
Something that I expected to some extent. It seemed, from the beginning, a low-quality product.
Therefore, I do not recommend it for purchase. Even though it is relatively economical.
Positive
• It has 4 USB 3.0 ports
• The USB ports are placed parallel, which was convenient for me. As long as the device lasted
Negative
• After about 2 years of good operation, it completely broke.
• The connection cable is relatively short

Very mediocre even for devices that require minimal voltage. I didn't dare to connect a hard drive. Choose it only for very simple uses.
