I have been using it for a few days now, so I cannot speak about its reliability over time. However, for what it offers, it is excellent. The water pressure is very good. I set it at 4 out of 10 and it cleans everything, giving a pleasant massage to the gums and leaving a feeling of cleanliness when finished. The reservoir is sufficient so that a second refill is not needed.
As for its construction, it is quite lightweight but doesn't seem fragile.
I found compatible replacements for 15 euros and another 8 nozzles.
Very noisy, you can't use it at night, it sprays water as if it's not a continuous flow and it runs out relatively quickly because it's small in size but sufficient for cleaning. Also, it spills water everywhere no matter how carefully you do it. Nothing special, just cheap.
I have been using it for a while and it really saves you visits to the dentist. Good water pressure that you can adjust, and it cleans gums and teeth deeply.
I've had it for 3 years, don't jinx it, and it's been good; it hasn't needed anything. With sensitivity in my gums, I can't turn it all the way up because it hurts. Personally, after using floss and the little brush, I always use it 1-2 times a week as an extra step in cleaning. It doesn't solve any problems nor does it replace any daily cleaning. I think it's purely for an extra step. Regarding usage: you need to follow the gum line and keep your mouth relatively closed just enough for the water to flow; you press the trigger to stop it. You go by feel; otherwise, if you're looking with your mouth open, it's logical that you'll make a mess. Use lukewarm water because with cold you'll be in trouble. The pump makes noise, which I think is also reasonable.
The product is clearly a copy of the original Water Pik which costs four times as much, even the design is the same, it does the job but the original is more robustly built, it doesn't make as much noise of course and lasts for many years, the spare parts of course for the Water Pik cost as much as the entire Waterpulse
I have been using it for the last two months. It is excellent at cleaning between teeth. I couldn't imagine that so much food could stay there. It has a large enough water tank to clean all teeth well. Its main drawback is that it makes quite a bit of noise (especially at night when there is some quiet), as well as its size, which is not small. Also, it has a pressure regulator depending on who is using it, as well as a different attachment for each user. Finally, it is powered by electricity and not batteries. I would recommend it to anyone who has issues with food residues on their teeth.
My wife uses it daily. The only serious downside is that it is quite noisy. However, for its price, it is very good. How long it will last remains to be seen.
Ok, a cheap product for an "expensive" job. I only used it twice so I don't know how long it will last, but it seems fake and cheap in terms of quality. It gets the job done. I don't know for how long. But I haven't read anyone complaining about the mess it makes afterwards with every use... Am I doing something wrong? Mirrors, floor, and everything in general gets messed up from the water and splashes. After every use in the bathroom. Hahaha... Any solutions anyone?
I bought it about 4 years ago and now I can't live without it. Even on vacation, I take it with me. You will be amazed at how much surface work an electric toothbrush does when you discover how much food residue the ionization removes from a freshly cleaned mouth. Especially if you have braces or gingivitis or periodontitis, it is a lifesaver. Small useful tips: As soon as I press the start button, I suck a little to make the water come faster and not strain the motor. I add a little mouthwash to the water for better cleaning and fresh breath. If the water is too cold, especially in winter, it bothers sensitive teeth, so I warm it up a bit in the microwave. When I'm not using it, I leave the lid open after emptying any excess water so that it can dry and bacteria don't develop. The power was the only concern I had before buying it, but believe me, it is very powerful, I usually use it somewhere in the middle! Congratulations, it is an excellent device!
I have it for two years now. Having a problem with my gums, I found my salvation with this machine! The bleeding has stopped, the plaque is minimal! It is worth more than its money. It definitely takes up some space but its multiple benefits make you overlook its few drawbacks. It's amazing how much food residue accumulates in our teeth even after a simple brushing! Combine it with a good electric toothbrush and the long-term result will surprise you! Extra tip: add a little mouthwash to the water for extra freshness and cleanliness
The first 2-3 days it was going well, but then it started fluctuating in speed and occasionally turning off. The trimmer it has is probably hydraulic and not electric. So, if you open it, it simply increases the volume of water and not the pressure, making it easier to turn off. I would say it performs better at a 4/10, although it still fluctuates in speed occasionally. I raised it high on a shelf to help it a bit. Basically, it wasn't a good purchase, I should have bought something of better quality.
Edit: It turns out it was the transformer. It says 1A but only gives 0.67A. I replaced it with another one that actually gives 1A and sprays like crazy.
While it is powerful and gets the job done, it started to leak water between the water container and the mechanism over time, so I am going for a more expensive one hoping for fewer flaws. However, as a philosophy, it is worth it in combination with an interdental brush.
Take it! It does what it says. 4 stars because it's a bit plasticky, because it has a button that instead of pressing it and working, you have to press it to not work (reverse logic) and the power cord goes in from the bottom (risk of getting wet). Also, the lid doesn't snap. It falls off with the slightest touch. Otherwise, it does its job very well. End of the review. You can also put mouthwash in the tank.
Very good! I thought from the photo that it would be the size of a coffee maker, but it is much smaller. It is powered by electricity, not batteries. Besides the teeth that bled (this also happened with the professional at the dentist's office (35 euros for the visit), cleaning using warm water first and then mouthwash brings perfect results. I will also use it to clean the wax from my ears.
It is bulkier than I expected. The construction quality is mediocre. The water cap opens by itself every time due to the vibrations from the water pressure (it doesn't close properly at all). The button on the sprayer for temporary flow interruption seems fake. It has very good pressure, every time I used it, I never reached the maximum. I don't find it to be an exceptional machine, but for its price, it is decent.
It didn't last long at all! And we only used it 2-3 times a week! If we were using it every day, would it last a month? It had pressure, but what good is that? The nozzle for in-between teeth broke on the second use, it came off from its base. I opened it to see what was going on inside before throwing it away, 3 black screws due to rust, the others were fine. So it was leaking from somewhere. Overall, cheap, plastic, obviously Chinese, and no warranty! I'm sorry for the money I spent!
As a powerful and effective machine, but the 3 stars are for the following reasons:
1) due to expensive and hard-to-find spare parts
2) for a 40 euro machine, it was so difficult to have a sealing button or even a makeshift hook on the water tank lid to keep it stable? Be very careful with this and keep in mind not to fill the tank completely because you may end up with water everywhere at least.
3) I didn't like that the transformer has a plug underneath that you plug in to the power. I don't consider it particularly safe. So before you touch it somewhere, check if the surface has water on it if you don't want your hair to stand on end! I would prefer it to have a single cable inside the device that minimizes these doubts. I don't even know why all these things are not clearly stated in the instructions. And since I mentioned them, for me, it's a foul to have user instructions only in English.
4) As for its operation, I would prefer the water spray to work in reverse. That is, you put the machine in front of the device with the ON button and when you press the button, it sprays water, not as soon as you open it, it pours water because you risk getting everything wet and then having to clean it up.
5) Pay great attention to how long you hold it in one spot of your teeth as it sprays water, especially when you have it set to high pressure from 6 and above... it can make your gums bleed even temporarily along with the cleaning. This could also be combined with reason 4, as far as comfort and how you use it.
6) Finally, make sure that if you have it in the bathroom plugged into the socket, it is in a rectangular and wide sink, not oval because similarly to reason 3, it is not safe when you touch your hands and bend down to use it to be in an exposed corner. It's better to have a little more space or ideally in the kitchen next to the sink counter.
In conclusion, for its price, it's okay, but if you don't pay attention to such basic safety things or worse, you are careless and inattentive, this machine is not for you! Go for the classic dental floss or dental flosser.
Excellent cleaning at home. You will feel like you went to the dentist. I saw improvement even in the color tone of my teeth, even though I use whitening toothpaste and mouthwash at least 2 times a day. It is a necessary supplement for our oral hygiene. The tank holds enough water for one use, although the first few times you may need to refill it. Procedure: Clean the tank very well, ideally with a disinfectant soap like baktolin. Disinfect the remaining parts and place your own clean attachment/nozzle. Add previously boiled water to the tank, and it should be slightly warm. Add mouthwash if desired into the water. Clean the cavities and rinse with plenty of water, saltwater, or mouthwash.
It is good, but I bought a wireless one because I travel a lot and it is easier to use. But I was satisfied with this item. I used Google translate to translate into Greek, as I cannot post in English
It's fantastic. Until I got it, I believed that I cleaned my teeth effectively with interdental brushes and floss, but when I tried this, I saw how much food residue it removed from behind my wisdom teeth. Since then, I use it morning and night and the health of my gums has improved, as well as the bad breath I had due to wisdom teeth and braces. Don't even think about it, it's worth its money. I set it to 5 and it cleans without injuring the gums. Also, it's better with lukewarm water than cold water, it might bother you a little at first.
At 26 euros and something that I bought it, it is complete, it helps a lot in cleaning, especially if you can't tolerate interdental brushes, with a little lukewarm water it is complete
Amazing product! I bought it in November when I got braces to make the cleaning process easier, as it is much more difficult to clean food that gets stuck between the teeth and on the braces. I use it daily for the reasons I mentioned earlier and I highly recommend it! It is clearly value for money and I will definitely continue to use it even after I remove the braces!! It takes oral hygiene to another level!! As for finding replacement parts, I haven't needed to search yet... I read in some comments that it is difficult to find, but I will start the search soon.
Very good! It cleans where the toothbrush can't reach and gradually reduces (if there is) gum inflammation. It's better to use lukewarm water because if there is a problem with the teeth, it's not so pleasant with cold water.
I needed something like this! Where I used to go to the dentist for cleaning every 3-4 months, now I do it at home a few times a month.
At first, and for the first week, every day. Then, I reduced it to 4 times, and now about 10 times a month, which is enough for me. Of course, this depends on each person's needs.
I would suggest not using very cold water because when it "hits" the teeth, it can cause either pain or numbness in the gums (if they are sensitive). Neither, of course, lukewarm or too hot for the same reason. Personally, I choose a comfortable and neutral temperature to make it pleasant.
Owner of the product here for a week now and I have the following to report.
In the positives:
• It is extremely practical and very useful for someone who wants to properly clean their teeth.
• With the appropriate attachments, it cleans different areas inside the mouth.
• The water tank is sufficient for a complete wash.
• It is small and lightweight. In other words, it doesn't take up much space.
• The price.
• The tongue attachment is very useful.
In the negatives:
• The flow process is automatic. But it could have been reversed, meaning that pressing the button would start the water flow instead of stopping it. It's not a major issue, just try pressing the cleaning pen button before turning it on.
• It makes noise but it's not too bothersome.
• It is difficult to find replacement parts in case of purchase.
Summary:
It is impeccable in terms of quality-price ratio. It does the job it promises to the fullest. The negatives I mentioned do not diminish its usefulness.
Very good product for its price, in combination with good brushing it removes food between the teeth. You need to find a little bit of its power and the way you will use it as it splashes everywhere. Overall, very satisfied. Value for money.
