Power supply is via electricity or battery. Easy charging and long autonomy
Long range up to 330m outdoors and 50m indoors, so you are always close to your baby.
You can use it simultaneously with other transmitting devices, without interference.
Thanks to DECT technology, you can listen and send high-quality sound securely, without interference from other transmitting devices. Stay close to your baby at all times, even if you are in another room.
Thanks to the Smart ECO function, energy is saved and the monitor's lifespan is extended. The function automatically reduces sound emissions and increases battery life. The closer you are to your baby, the less power is needed for a perfect connection.
Thanks to the ability to broadcast on various frequencies, you can listen to your baby safely, without interference, and without being overheard by others.
Help your baby relax by choosing one of the 5 soothing melodies available. Dim the light for a pleasant sleep. Both functions can be easily activated from the parent or baby unit.
Through the notification settings menu, you can choose silent mode or vibration to be alerted at night, as well as reduce the screen brightness. Just press a button to activate the night mode.
Thanks to the temperature sensor, you are able to monitor and adjust the temperature in your baby's room, and receive notifications in case of any changes. This ensures an ideal environment for your baby to relax.
1. Do not place the baby unit inside the crib, nor in a spot where the baby can grab it with their hands. On the other hand, the further away you place it, the more the sound clarity decreases. Conduct tests and place the unit at the farthest point from the child, from where the device can still pick up even the lowest sounds and transmit them clearly.
2. The baby should not be able to reach the device's connection/charging cables. Ensure they do not have access to them.
3. Check if the parent unit goes out of range, runs out of battery, or is on mute or low volume while it is not in your line of sight. The out-of-range or battery replacement/recharging alert functions that many intercom systems have are useful in this regard.

Wonderful machine!!! We have been using it on a daily basis for 7 months and we are very satisfied! The music helps my baby to sleep, the shapes haven't helped as much. Great range and battery life!
Based on the price, I would like:
1. It to have another scale for sensitivity adjustment and alarm, not only for crying but for any sound. The baby can wake up without crying, even standing in the crib, and you may not hear it if you are sleeping. The device increases the volume of the speaker if it detects any sound, but this is not enough many times.
2. The night light it has is useless, just for decoration. It could be brighter to be useful.
3. The buttons should be illuminated or at least slightly protruding because at night you can't find them to press them even if you know where they are.
And the positives:
The stars that light up on the ceiling are actually useful as babies like them and are entertained by looking at them while we feed them at night. The sound is quite loud and clear. The range seems to be good. The battery is also very good.
Conclusion:
Overall, it is overrated because in essence it does not differ at all in its basic function from the small model of Philips that costs 1/3 of this and does the job just fine. Based on the additional features it has (stars, charging base, slightly better range, and maybe slightly better battery), it should cost 20-30 € more at most than the small model.
*We used an Android app and an old mobile phone or tablet as a base for quite some time. It worked fine and we also had a camera, but in essence, it is not necessary. However, it is more convenient to have a separate device for this job.
It is an excellent choice for intercommunication. Also, the lullabies and the projector are very useful tools to put the baby to sleep.
I have no experience with other baby monitors, but the star projection on the ceiling has been a lifesaver for me. It has lights and sounds, and you can control everything from both the base and the remote. It has a great range, battery life, and sensitivity to sounds. The little lights it has for detecting crying and the vibration feature are also very convenient.
Update - the only small drawback I have found is that while the base of the parent unit charges its own batteries, the same does not apply to the base that goes in the baby's room. Although it takes batteries and can be plugged into the power outlet, the batteries do not charge while it is connected to the power.
