Acts as a diuretic, emollient, and tonic. Corn silk helps with any irritation of the urinary system and its diuretic ability becomes evident within 3-4 days with the increase in urine output. It helps eliminate kidney and bladder stones. It is used for kidney issues in children and as an emollient for the urinary system in combination with other herbs for the treatment of cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, and nocturnal enuresis.

How to use: Pour a cup of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of fresh or dried herb and let it steep covered for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink three times a day.
