I tried the purple dye on my own hair and on my friend's who has light brown hair, and it barely took at all. I have used similar products in the past on white hair and the results were satisfactory. I bought it believing that it would give at least a subtle blue color to my hair for 2-3 weeks, like the other products. However, all it did was remove the yellowish tone from my white hair. The irony is that the instructions advise using gloves, but nothing was stained, not my hair, not my hands, not even the towels, it was like applying a simple mask. I didn't notice any difference in my hair either. This is just another disappointing purchase.
I bought the pink one and my hair is now a very light blonde with highlights. These masks can have a relatively long duration and can fade directly. I dyed my hair for a year with the corresponding red shade from Imel and it lasted quite well when I rinsed it with cold water and used as little shampoo as possible on the lengths. When I washed it with very hot water and a lot of shampoo, it faded quickly. So, I consider them good for both relatively permanent and semi-permanent changes. However, they fade easily, but in hair with highlights, I believe they almost always leave something behind, which is important to keep in mind in case we don't like it. I bought the pink one because I read that it is somewhat cool, but in the end, it left me with a very bad pink-orange-yellow color. It says 2 to 4 washes...after four months and using a special color remover, it's still there. If you want it for a quick change, don't get it, if you want it to not fade for ages, buy it
I have been using it for a year and I am very satisfied. It refreshes the color well between salon visits and also leaves it soft and shiny. I play around with shades 5.65-6.66 in red dye and the color matches perfectly. Excellent value for money. Make sure to wear gloves and use a makeup remover because the color comes off if you're clumsy like me and it also stains the ears along with the hair!
I believe that the existing color underneath contributes to the result. I had my hair gray with dark roots. After that, I applied a dark purple which had a very good result due to the previous color. On top of that, I have been using the lorvenn 9.22 for the past year, which is a pure fuchsia. Of course, it comes out darker and this mask personally gives me the result in the photo. update: I have also purchased the red one, I have applied it more carefully and it gives a vibrant eggplant color to my hair. It has a stronger pigment than the mask I mentioned below, and even though a month has passed, I can still see the red color, and so can my friends!
I have brown hair and it gave minimal color, although I have never tried dyeing my hair before, so maybe if I knew how to apply it, the color would show a little. In bleached blonde hair, the purple had satisfactory coverage. It also made the hair very soft and smelled nice. After two washes, the purple faded and turned blue.
