Clearly from a personal perspective, however, because I have changed quite a few athletic shoes and due to the fact that I wear a special orthopedic insole in combination with an ankle brace, it has withstood 4 years of every strain while I have literally worn them out with almost daily use. I have washed them 6 times so far (washer - dryer). Naturally, the sole has some wear with continuous use and depending on how each person walks. However, where I truly appreciated them was after the injury. They are the "only" shoes that have helped me and relieve me from pain. Combined with the special insole and the ankle brace that stabilizes my ankle, while at the same time needing to be lightweight, easy to put on and take off, for me it is a one-way street. I will definitely buy more pairs to rotate them.
