Is it possible for an entire company that is supposed to be serious not to include four screws in the packaging for us to support it in the box? Ridiculous and unacceptable!! They will see me again with a photo.
Not even 500gb were written in total and the SSD didn't even boot up one fine morning. It doesn't even receive power (tested on 2 other PCs).
Stay away from it, it is of poor quality, overall garbage. I have bought Crucial MX for the same price, installed them in various PCs, and after 3 and 4 years they still work perfectly fine with around 95% health. Congratulations to WD for buying Sandisk's garbage and rebranding it.
Very satisfied, I installed it after cloning within the laptop (Pavilion g6 with 8GB RAM) and it has transformed it for the better! It's truly day and night in terms of performance!
It is an extremely value for money SSD disk, fast and reliable. I have installed the operating system and some programs (e.g. Photoshop, Lightroom) and it runs everything smoothly. I highly recommend it for someone who wants an SSD to do their work and wants something affordable.
I will start with an important observation.
If you put it in an old PC or laptop system
where the BIOS does not support AHCI,
the performance will be just slightly better than an HDD,
do not expect the speeds promised by the company.
On the other hand, if you put it in a newer system that supports AHCI,
the disk will skyrocket... but be careful, do not overload it...
it is important to leave 15-20% free space
to extend its lifespan.
The disk in general is great, in all aspects...
Plus, it is also SLC technology!
Well ... The Name is in vain .. Within 1 month his health dropped from 100% to 93% for no reason at all .. As for speed, let's hope for the best .. He is slightly faster than a regular disk.
--- In short, it's a shame for the kicks ....
-- Get something else or spend the money on Loukoumia so you can have both sweetness and money left ..!!!!
Before you judge it strictly, you must do it with all the criteria first of all the price close to 20€, the price as much as a USB stick. Speed according to its use, small files low speed, large files normal speed, of course much higher than a similar 7200rpm. Data security is a very critical criterion, the disk is not responsible for data loss in any case but the user who has not backed up to another storage medium, but in any case, like all devices, it is consumable. SSD technology has cost amortization, that's why such a low price is logical and it is natural for its capacity and reliability to increase. Whoever wants the best disk takes the Samsung Pro with a 10-year warranty, but still, it doesn't mean they don't want another medium for important files. As a system disk, it removes stress from the mechanical disk, resulting in lasting longer over time.
Very bad, I installed it on an Aser netbook and it's painfully slow. I measured it with CrystalDisk, read 142.5 MB/s random read 29.15 sequential 121.4 random read 8.76, write 78.62 MB/s random write 6.92, sequential write 74.25 random write 5.20. No relation to the specifications that are listed. It's a shame because I bought two of them.
Quite a good SSD for its price, it's not like the Crucial or Samsung ones but it's not bad either... for those who don't want or can't spend more money, it's a very good solution! So, it is highly recommended for budget upgrades...
I had my doubts at first but it turned out to be a very reliable and fast SSD, I've had it for 4 months and its performance is incredible, it's worth a lot and its price is ideal for those looking for something cheap and good. I highly recommend it!!
Good price fast as it should be an ssd at this price, it does the job it promises, personally I bought it yesterday and put it in a 10-year-old vaio with Elementary os Linux, time will tell how long it will last!
