I use it with a 1.5 battery that I have extra from a hammer drill, and it works just fine to bring the tires to the required pressure.   I drive over 100km daily and I wanted to regularly check my tire pressure for economic reasons. I was tired of using the crappy pumps at gas stations, not to mention that the tires would inevitably heat up even just after a kilometer, until I reached the gas station.

  So, I was looking for something portable and after the failed Chinese purchase of a simple pump for 40€, I decided to try something branded. I already had Dewalt battery tools, so I didn't mind that the battery was not included in the package.

  My vehicle has a basic TPMS and not smart valves, so I thought about installing them, but the reliable ones cost around 100€ and for adjustment, I would have to go to a gas station. The caps are a bonus for the opportunists, so I decided to invest in something good.

  The price initially concerned me, but generally Dewalt tools are of very good quality, so their prices are always higher.

  Well, practically the tool is excellent! You can tell the quality from the first touch. I have only tried it on the car and made small pressure adjustments on a weekly basis. They say it takes it from 10psi to 35 in three minutes. When I measured it from 26 to 32, it took less than 40 seconds, so it's probably true. It has two screens, one shows the current tire pressure and the other is for settings. The connection to the tire is screw-on, which in my opinion is very reliable as there are no losses, like there would be with a lever. From the videos I saw on YouTube, they have verified the reliability of the readings, so there is no need to check the pressure with a separate device or smart valves.

  It includes, as I saw, a nozzle for balls and inflatables, connecting to the other port, as well as a connection to the cigarette lighter, but I haven't tried it yet.

  The battery I have installed is the largest one the company has, 5Ah, and it fits perfectly, it's the same size as the 4Ah.

  If I were to add something to the package for its price, it would be a case like the one I bought separately in the photo for 5€, so that I can keep it permanently organized in the car.

  I think it will pay for itself due to the savings I will achieve by regularly adjusting my tires without hassle and with reliable results. It also comes with a 3-year warranty if registered on mydewalt.
