By publishing the "Recital", the intention was to cover the repertoire mainly of the lower guitar classes (preliminary, lower) but also of the higher classes (middle, upper). If we assume that enrollment in each of these classes lasts three years, then each issue of this series corresponds in some way to one year. Of course, no one is obliged to play or teach these specific pieces in a certain year, as the abilities of the students differ significantly.

The "Recital" does not contain a study, precisely because there is a plethora of studies for all these classes. The works it contains, some original and some arranged, come from all musical periods. They start from the 16th and reach the 20th century.
