It is a product that perfectly serves the purpose for which I bought it. It has no leaks at all, and I can turn it upside down without any issues. I trust it because I have tested it. The hot beverage I put inside doesn't cool down quickly, I mean, I want my Greek coffee to cool down and it doesn't :-) It takes a long time for the temperature of the drink to change indeed. Also, very VERY important for me is that it doesn't retain odors. I have tried it with tea, coffee, smoothies, and even hot tsipouro :-) it doesn't smell at all. It leaks from the mouthpiece, resulting in me not being able to put it in my bag for fear of it leaning and getting dirty when I hold it. I compare it to a no-name thermos that I have based on cold drinks, mainly coffee, and the difference is chaotic. In the Contigo, the ice melts in two hours, while in the no-name thermos, it lasts up to 9 hours, keeping the content consistently frozen. Therefore, it simply doesn't do its job.

  Unfortunately, it doesn't seal perfectly, it requires a bit of attention. Also, the mechanism for opening the lid to drink is almost impossible to clean properly (with hand washing) due to its complexity. If you have a dishwasher, it might be okay. I think it's better to go for something else.

  The best thing about this thermos. It keeps the temperature for hours, whether it's cold or hot. I've had it for years and it hasn't had any issues with daily use. I highly recommend it.   Getting coffee from a shop in a paper cup, especially in such heat, makes the coffee undrinkable after an hour, which is understandable. Since I got the thermos, I don't have any issues because even after 4 hours, the coffee stays cold. I don't have an opinion on hot coffee because I only drink it cold. You can also use a straw, something that I hadn't seen in the comments anywhere. Kids, you can use a straw normally, but you have to remove the mechanism from under the lid, essentially just push it. You will see it when you buy it, it's worth the money, really practical. Those of you who are looking for it, get it, spend a little more and you will enjoy it!

  P.S. The lid holds dirt in the threads that you can't easily remove, and overall, the lid needs a good closing

  I have it now for about 6 months and I am very satisfied.
  It keeps hot drinks for about 3-4 hours and cold drinks, if there is ice inside, for over 12 hours! Not to mention that it works great, as most people will have finished their drink within that time.
  As for design and construction, it is incredible, very high quality and sturdy! It has a button at the back, which when pressed opens and allows you to drink. This way, there are no leaks at all.
  Cleaning is not that easy and be careful, it is not dishwasher safe! Especially the lid requires a little work with a sponge.

  I find two negatives about it:
  1) It does not have a straw hole, as the mouthpiece has a push to open button.
  2) It retains a drop of liquid in the mouthpiece after closing. This means that when you release the button, you have to suck a little to get that drop as well.
  I mention this mainly for someone who works in an office and may have an accident or for the car.

  Overall, it is a bit expensive, but it is perfect for traveling and long journeys!
