I used two in a ceiling light, very bright and with a color that doesn't lean too much towards blue/purple. Unfortunately, despite the advertised minimal usage, both of them broke, one after 1.5 years and the second one after 2 years. I have the impression that the canbus support increases the thermal stress (even though they have a heat sink on the bottom of the board), so if your car doesn't have canbus, it might be preferable to use some simple/cheaper LED bulbs.
