The former international basketball player of Panathinaikos, Konstantinos Sergos, has a meeting with his son Alexandros, but he does not show up. A little while later, Sergos receives an email with a hangman - seven letters and dashes in between - the game he used to play with his son when he was little. Afraid that this is not a coincidence and unable to find his son anywhere, Sergos contacts the police and asks to speak with the only person he believes can help him: the one who seems to have sent the email, Petros Eleftheriadis, a detective of the Homicide Department. Eleftheriadis tries to solve the puzzle in order to locate Sergos' son, but also to find out who implicated him in the case. However, at the moment the detective finds Alexandros on the verge of death in his apartment, Sergos receives a new email on his computer with four drawings: a melting candle, a bottle of wine, a carnation, and a strange skull. Eleftheriadis realizes that the disappearance of Alexandros was only the beginning.
