I bought it because of the good reviews and I wonder why none of the previous friends commented on the major drawback (at least for me) it has... Specifically, when it is in operation, it "forces" you to only see the time and does not show you the station you are listening to.
Something that is annoying and unfortunately cannot be changed, because it does not give you such an option...
(Verified by the Authorized Service I asked).
Apart from the connection to the socket with the cable included in the package, it takes 3 large LR20 batteries or otherwise "D".
The sound is clear and loud but that's about it... It lacks the sweet tone and melodiousness!
However, this is perfectly normal for the price I bought it for, which is €27, which is value for money for a digital radio.
After some research, I returned it (due to the drawback I mentioned above) and got the slightly more expensive AKAI APR - 200 instead, which reminds me of the good old days of the company... both in terms of ease of use and performance!

I have a cottage in Keratea, next to me is a hill that makes it difficult for me to receive anything. Whatever I had from portable radios, I couldn't catch anything. So I decided to get this one. It catches perfectly despite the obstacle. I imagine that if I didn't have the obstacle, it would catch even up to China!! I highly recommend it without a second thought!!!
