    It is indeed matte, but not long-lasting. It dehydrates the lips and you feel a pulling sensation, and once it dries, it starts to fade away. It is not for many hours, meaning after 3 hours it starts to fade on its own. And I have been using matte and long-lasting products for years. If you want a matte result only for 2-3 hours, it is relatively good.
