They lead Hellenism from its adolescence to its period of maturity, so that no one can claim that it is "always a child," but rather a perfect man "to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." Thus, they affirm the uninterrupted continuity of Hellenism throughout history and clearly define our national identity. They establish the Greek Orthodox ethos as the aim of the education of our blessed nation and as the core value of the universal proposal that Hellenism must articulate in our days for every person seeking "the meaning of life."
