This book deals with the basic concepts of signal and system theory and introduces the student to Fourier, Laplace, Z, and DFT transforms, as well as the description of systems in state space, sampling theory, and computational issues of Fourier analysis. Without sacrificing rigor where it is necessary, the authors' effort has focused on presenting all thematic units in a simple and understandable way, while each chapter is accompanied by a number of appropriately selected solved problems.
