After many years in the high-end field and having changed many floorstanding speakers, I found the golden mean. Former owner of KLIPSCH R-820F, the difference is noticeable, both in terms of sound and appearance. The smaller but more expensive RP-6000 speaker justifies its price. Perfectly balanced sound. The RP series has a more advanced tweeter than the R series. It is warmer and sweeter, which is also due to the better-tuned crossover. The difference is immediately noticeable in the vocals, the artist sounds alive as if they are in front of you (this is also helped by the integrated amplifier from Vinscent with tubes in the preamplification). In the low frequencies, the difference is small, mainly focusing on the fact that the R series is a bit more booming, the bass has slightly longer duration than it should, resulting in annoying resonance (better for movies). In the RP series, it is sharper and more abrupt, and you can feel it stronger. This is also helped by the better, more solid cabinet of the speakers, as well as the better-tuned crossover compared to the R series.

Regarding the cabinet, it has very good materials and assembly, it has an anti-scratch coating (oh yes), the screws of the speakers are covered. In the R series, it is bothersome that they are visible, and the edges are slightly rounded and not squared like in the R series, making it more visually appealing.

One is slightly better than the other, and it is justified that it is more expensive but also a better speaker. If you care more about movies, prefer the R series, there is no reason to spend extra. I will not comment on the amplifier-cable that comes with it, I am examining the speaker, in the rest, you get what you pay for as usual (with some exceptions sometimes). Generally, an easy speaker, focus on the sound quality of the amplifier and not on the wattage. It needs a lot of breaking in, every passing month I feel that it plays better. Usually, in this category of speakers, you need at least 120 hours of music playing to get 70% of the speaker's performance. The remaining 30% increases disproportionately, it will take 2-3 years.

Basically, "tips":
1. Place it at least 30cm away from the back and side walls (50cm is ideal), otherwise, go for the smaller RP-5000, it will play better and you won't miss the bass even though it has smaller woofers.
2. It will cover living rooms from 30 to 50 m2.
3. Look for deals, talk to the salespeople. (I got it for 950 euros)
4. Prefer the larger RP-8000 for spaces over 50m2 (not less, it will be bothersome) and for a minimum distance from walls of 50cm (ideal is 1 meter).
5. From personal listening experiences, if your budget allows, prefer Mission ZX-5 or Wharfedale evo4.4, AMAZING speakers. For even bigger wallets, make sure to leave some for the amplifier, otherwise, it's a useless gift.
For something cheaper but still good, I recommend Taga Harmony Platinum F-100 V3 or Dali Oberon 7
