Description

Add WiFi to your devices with the Arduino Uno WiFi. It is an Arduino Uno Rev3 with upgrades: It comes with a brand new 8-bit microprocessor from Microchip and an integrated IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). As for the WiFi connection, it has become more secure with the new ECC608 encryption chip.

The Wi-Fi module is a standalone SoC system with an integrated TCP/IP protocol that can provide access to a Wi-Fi network or function as an access point. It supports OTA (over-the-air) programming either for uploading code (sketch) to the Arduino or for the Wi-Fi firmware.

The board features 14 digital inputs or outputs, 6 analog inputs, 1 USB port for power and connection to the computer for programming, 1 power input that can alternatively be used for power from a power adapter or a simple battery, 1 ICSP socket, and finally a reset button.

Regarding the Arduino WiFi, I would like to say two things from my experience. Firstly, in order to communicate and connect to the router, the power supply needs to be 7 to 12 volts. Additionally, you should update all the libraries and if you encounter a problem where the sketch doesn't download, you should uninstall and reinstall the COM port it is connected to
