Excited! First of all, I should note that I have been using breast pumps for 2.5 years with some breaks. I have used both hospital-grade and manual pumps. My previous one was the double pump from a big brand that I had bought for 200 euros and I had to change it due to prolonged use.

Positives:
- First of all, the quality of the plastics, the soft funnel, the extra spare valves, the caps for the funnels, the two nipples for conversion to a bottle, and the screen of the breast pump are impressive.
- Many settings in both modes (massage and pumping), timer.
- The battery is a big plus (I charge it and do 5-6 10-minute pumping sessions).
- The pumping efficiency is as good as, if not better than, my previous one from the big brand and it is also quite to very quiet!

The only negatives I could point out are the sensitive buttons (it can indeed be activated by accidental touch) and maybe I would have liked it to be a bit more portable in terms of shape since it has all the features for on-the-go use. It would also be nice if it had caps for the bottles, since it already has the nipples.

In conclusion, I wouldn't buy another one if I knew this one existed!! The ultimate value for money!!

P.S.: I want to clarify that every mom has her own experience with breast pumps. I know moms who exclusively breastfed their babies just fine, but couldn't pump even 10ml with the breast pump. Just like the breast learns the baby, it also learns the breast pump. With patience and regular pumping. Don't exhaust your breasts for too long when you see that no more milk is coming out. Take a break and try again 30-60 minutes later. Competitive greetings to all the moms!

  I used it 7-8 times a day for months and sterilized it every time. Absolutely nothing happened. It helped me to have production when my baby was not near me and to manage to breastfeed exclusively after months. In the hospital, Ardo helped me. I personally did not see any difference.   I received it as a gift, it is relatively effective when the battery is fully charged. It is also unacceptable that there are no available spare parts for the inner tubes, which wear out relatively quickly (I use it moderately), resulting in them not being as efficient.   As another user of the product mentioned, I also truly wonder about the positive reviews. Of course, I am conveying my wife's personal experience with it (she just doesn't speak or write Greek, so I am relaying her words). Let's start from the beginning.

  Obviously, a mother with sufficient milk production may not encounter any problems. However, mothers with lower milk production will definitely have a big issue. The biggest drawback of the device that leads to this "problem" is its weakness. The device is too weak to be called a "breast pump". It doesn't need to be compared to hospital-grade pumps that cost three thousand euros, of course. It is evident from its use. So, for those with low milk production, you will curse the hour and moment and struggle to get only 10-15ml out. If you have twins, just forget about it. You will end up breaking the device yourself because you will simply be wasting your time with zero results.

  Clearly, it is not worth a single euro and indeed, as the other lady mentioned, it is the worst purchase we made.

  It is indeed good, but some internal components (2 silicone valves) wear out very quickly, resulting in a loss of suction power, causing the pumping time to gradually increase in order to empty the breast. I have even reached 2 hours for both breasts. I bought a second one because of the price, and after using the first one, it lasted me for a month with the same valves. It comes with spare parts in the packaging, and I used them for another month before replacing them. If I had known this from the beginning, I would have preferred another brand. If you want to pump for more than 6 months, it's not worth it. Otherwise, with 2 breast pumps, you can get the job done in 6 months and it's cheaper than buying the expensive one.

  It is not as effective in terms of pumping frequency and power as a machine. This can lead to milk accumulation and consequently a health problem in the breasts, which happened in my case.
  To achieve a satisfactory amount of milk, it takes 45-60 minutes each time, which cumulatively leads to many lost hours in the day and causes fatigue.
  It has many components for sterilization and assembly.
  Lastly, it does not fit properly on the breast. The suction is not as effective because it is quite wide.

  I replaced it with a breast pump from a well-known company, in which the pumping frequency is higher and the suction fits better on the breast. I manage to express more milk in 15 minutes than I did with the current breast pump in 1 hour. Also, there are fewer components and assembly is very quick.

  In conclusion, the Cangaroo Elegance is a good choice in terms of cost, but its effectiveness is quite below average.

  I bought it as soon as I gave birth to exclusively feed my baby with my own milk, even if I had to be away. In the end, this was not possible... The valves broke quickly without any particular use. It has four valves and I am left with only one... But the most disappointing thing is that now that my baby is five months old and I want to pump milk to build up a supply, the breast pump completely broke. It worked somewhat, although it couldn't fully empty my breasts. From the beginning, the frequency didn't work, it was stuck on three, but I noticed it late and it didn't bother me that much. The plastic bottles are of good quality. The nipples that it comes with are not reliable, they leak a lot and have small leaks. The pumping was comfortable. The user manual is not very informative. Unfortunately, you have to buy it to learn that it is not particularly efficient for first-time mothers, at least that's what it says in the manual. The battery was quite efficient as long as it lasted, and the fact that it was completely portable was one of its biggest advantages. It didn't make any noise. I do not recommend it for frequent use. It's better to spend a little more and get something better. Anyway, I will give it away again.

  To begin with, I should clarify that I have not used another electric breast pump* so I have no comparison metric, but I am so satisfied that I cannot understand what more the branded/hospital ones offer that justifies their multiple cost.

  POSITIVES:

  - It does the job it needs to do very quickly. In less than 10 minutes, the breast is emptied. I do not mention ml because each mom has a different production, depending on her body and the needs/age of her baby. The criterion is to empty the breast and to fatten the baby.
  - It does not hurt. I use it at 10 (with a maximum of 15). At one point, I had congestion and I set it to max: even in that uncomfortable situation, the pain from pumping was almost nonexistent.
  - It is relatively quiet, sounding like a phone on vibration. The noise is reduced if you place the base on a soft surface.
  - It assembles and cleans easily, it has the standard parts for washing that all electric breast pumps have.
  - The packaging includes an extra pair of replacement valves as well as two nipples to convert it into a bottle.
  - I have also tried power pumping, the pump did not show any problems working for such a long time.
  - It can be used either single or double.
  - Generally, I operate it with the power. For testing, however, I used it once with the battery and I did not notice any change in performance (of course, the battery is still new).

  NEGATIVES:
  - The company does not sell separate spare parts and from what I read generally about breast pumps, the valves need replacement. If I find a compatible one, I will update.
  - The design is a bit strange: since it works with batteries, the design should facilitate its transport. Personally, it does not bother me because I have it in a fixed spot with power.

  * I was gifted a branded manual breast pump, which I used for the first 3-4 weeks, but once I confirmed that I had milk, I looked to buy an electric one: while it did empty the breast, it was incredibly time-consuming and very tiring. If there is no such financial constraint that even this electric cangaroo is prohibitive, I would generally suggest not to look for a manual one.

  UPDATE 2025:
  Five years later, with a second baby, I only have good things to say. Everything I wrote back then still holds true, but I now add that:
  - In these five years, the pump was used by two more moms before returning to me. All the parts are still like new, apart from a slight yellowing on the valves, which does not affect performance.
  - At the hospital, they gave me the well-known pump, so now I have a comparison metric. I found no difference, in fact, that one has extra parts for washing.
  - Now I use it almost exclusively as a portable: so many years later and the battery works perfectly without showing signs of weakening.
  - Honestly, my only observation is related to its design, which is not advertised as portable anyway.
  - It is already being prepared for the next mom, with great joy that I will give something useful and reliable!

  Having tried the hospital-grade Medela and the mini electric, I have to say that this is the best if you don't want to pay for the hospital-grade one. It has 2 phases with massage, double for time-saving, has a timer, is rechargeable and quiet, many intensity options, and cushions on the breasts so it doesn't hurt. It's worth its money and more. I don't know if it has any warranty (that would be the only negative if it doesn't)
