It was purchased about two months ago and is used almost daily.
It does its job very well, it just takes a while to heat up and cook.
However, this is obviously due to its 700W power.
It also has an on/off switch on the side, which is a significant advantage.
As for the build quality, it seems to be at least good, especially compared to the others.
However, it will prove itself over time, where there will be relevant updates to the comment.
For now, it is by far the best choice for a toaster!

After 2 years and two months of almost daily use, the top coil is burning (logical). The official service informed me that there are no replacement coils for this model, not even imitations. If it breaks within the warranty, they simply send you a new one, but if it happens outside the warranty, tough luck, you have to pay another 40€. Made in Greece and frustrating
It cooks well and quickly, but after 6 years of almost daily use, the top heating element broke and there are spare parts available.
It was purchased due to good reviews. Within a month, the cable did not make good contact. It went to service and was replaced due to lack of spare parts. The new one started having the same issues after 9-10 months.
What a shame! Very good grilling, poor build quality. Never Kenwood again...
If you want something cheap that cooks well, it's an option, as long as it doesn't break outside of warranty. I took it to a technician, they opened it up, found a burnt resistor, and handed it back to me. There are no spare parts available.
Although I bought it for the rental, I tried it once. It toasted the sandwiches evenly and quickly, and they were crispy. What didn't satisfy me so much is its quality. Only time will tell
It toasts the sandwiches in regular time, makes them crispy, and looks compact and modern. It is a Greek product that helps us support domestic production. The only drawback is that there is a distance between the plate and the frame of the toaster, and crumbs can fall there. Finally, it has a switch that makes it very functional for me

Excellent for its price and for making classic toast. At first, I thought it wouldn't fit 2 slices of toast, but it does! It can fit 2 slices with large pieces of bread and plenty of filling. Compact design, doesn't take up much space. Definitely makes toast much tastier than other toasters or grills thanks to the dense ridges on the non-stick plates. The only downside is that it takes 3-5 minutes to heat up. However, the toast might become crispier and more flavorful when cooked slowly.
It takes a while to heat up, it can't fit two sandwiches together. In order to toast a second sandwich, you have to wait for it to reach the temperature again. Within two years, the cord in the base has been cut twice.
I gave it only 4 stars because it is a bit small, it cannot fit two large slices of toast side by side!
After 4 years and 2 months, it gave up, the bottom coil doesn't even heat up and after a week the same happened with the top one. It's like they have a chip and are programmed to break at the same time. Although I would have liked it to last a little longer, I will probably buy the same one again because the combination of the activation button + Vertical storage is very convenient for me. It heats evenly and is easy to clean. It's worth noting that the non-stick plates remain in excellent condition considering the amount of use they have had
The last 2 years it has proven to be a dog!
