The metal parts of the frame fold in a simple way, while the main tube does not fold, in order to limit potential damage to the frame that may occur after long hours of cycling.
Equipped with a TMM torque sensor, which can automatically detect the pressure of your feet on both pedals, providing the appropriate electric power to assist you in acceleration. The MC (motor controller) determines how much electric power needs to be produced to amplify human power.
The torque sensor collects data and transfers it to the motor controller.
At the moment the foot moves downward, the torque sensor of the rear wheel will record the amount of force applied to the pedal.
The motor drives the front wheels forward.
Compared to regular motors, the 250W brushless motor features high torque (maximum speed 25Km/h), low magnetic resistance, greater acceleration, and lighter weight. This means it can move more easily even against headwinds.
The integrated computer will not only help the rider switch between the four assist modes, but also monitor real-time riding data: power in Watts, speed, distance.

Fitness mode

Enhanced mode

The Mi QiCYCLE electric folding bike incorporates data tracking features, such as current speed, distance traveled, power in Watts, and calorie consumption. This data will be displayed on the bike computer screen located on the handle, allowing you to monitor your daily progress.

After three months of daily commuting, I have to say that it is a very value for money electric bike that is recommended for your short trips. Reliable battery, comfortably holds up to 30 kilometers (not more though in realistic conditions) and smooth motor and speeds. I travel all routes effortlessly and flexibly. I move (due to its small size) equally comfortably on roads and sidewalks. Even on uphill slopes, I have no difficulty at all. It is very aesthetically pleasing, with excellent build quality and powerful LED lights. At the same time, it is quite lightweight (for an electric bike), which is convenient to carry it with you everywhere (essential!).
The negatives are the absence of suspensions, resulting in feeling the road potholes well, and the saddle, which is not at all comfortable. However, I found a solution by changing the saddle and putting a more comfortable one with springs that absorbs shocks.
Considering the price it is currently at (700 euros) and compared to the prices of other electric bikes, it is an exceptional value for money!
4500 kilometers and it still runs smoothly, a few standard bike problems but luckily the electric parts are still intact, knock on wood.
Update: 9,000 kilometers, now there are bent rims, but overall it still runs smoothly, the battery lasts about 20 kilometers in super mode.

The worst thing for your money, I'm not kidding. Yes, it looks nice and goes up to 25 kilometers and all the other positives, but with one big negative!!
After using this bike for 4 months, it developed a problem with the battery and wouldn't charge (even after trying different chargers).
A very common issue with these models and their batteries. If you ask me how I know, search on Google or YouTube for "Xiaomi qicycle battery not charging" and you'll find plenty of information and videos about this problem. Now I'm stuck with a bike that doesn't charge and because of its weight, it becomes tiring to pedal without assistance!
In ten minutes, it makes you tired as if you've been biking fast for half an hour. The best part is, to buy a new battery, I have to spend another 220 euros. They really rip you off. Do you want another good point? Xiaomi doesn't mention this problem and forces you to get it serviced as if the money you spent on buying the bike wasn't enough. (There are better models from other brands, don't waste your time with this specific bike, believe me, it's worth the bad reputation I'm giving it because it's a seriously faulty product)!!
I am writing again in case any of you can be saved.
The bike is only for very good asphalt... meaning not for Greece where there are potholes everywhere.
In 1 year, the spokes of the rear wheel broke, the spring of the kickstand broke, I replaced the entire kickstand...
The saddle was very hard, so I changed it with springs.
The battery lost 50% of its autonomy after one year.
The frame bent near the battery due to excessive shaking.
The tires cannot withstand the potholes... I replaced both with reinforced tires because they kept leaving me on the road constantly.
It is not for everyday use, it's something you have for a Saturday ride.
Then I bought the Fido with a much better spring at the back, more sturdy construction, but even that, after a year, the battery lost 50% of its autonomy after 365 charges. I was doing 400km per month, which means 12km per day on average.
The Technical Department Info Quest Technologies is tragically criminal.
After a material failure, the chain tensioner spring broke.
The bike is within warranty.
I contacted them and they asked me for €30 for a spring that should have been free.
The after-sales service of Xiaomi in Greece is an insult to the company.
I will never buy Xiaomi again.
And I will buy the spring from somewhere else.
The support of infoguest is unacceptable.

It takes 2-3 days to check and repair the rear tire tube!!! I will have to call tomorrow (27/8).
Wrong, it took 4 days to do the check (28/8).
In a new communication, the same thing, at least the tab seems to be under processing. So the TECHNICIAN sees it (29/8).
The struggle continues, the tab has been locked by their technician for 2 days and will be notified by email to respond to the service secretary!!!! (30/8)

I have had it for twenty days. Very convenient. Great autonomy and overall very helpful. It is convenient to go to strange places to have it in the car and take it out afterwards to take your walks. The speeds make it easy even for uphill and generally a very nice choice. I would like it a little cheaper only. But its build quality is really wonderful. Without prior experience in electric bicycles, the bicycle is good for the money it costs. Disadvantages: a) you need to order mudguards from eBay, the genuine ones, in order to assemble it easily, cost €25. b) Chinese legislation does not allow a top speed above 20km/hr. I had to change the firmware to reach a top speed of 30km/hr. c) if you are over 1.85m tall, you need the genuine handlebar extension from eBay, cost €15, otherwise the original one won't be comfortable. d) you might also need a new saddle that is more comfortable as the current one is hard, cost ranging from €30 to €100+ depending on preferences. Overall, the bicycle is very good for its price. Please note that it is electrically assisted, meaning you have to pedal for it to assist you, it is not a scooter. With the new firmware reaching a top speed of 30km/hr, it consumes 6% battery per kilometer. It is foldable and fits in the trunk of a Smart car. It is worth the money plus the additional cost for extras. Once again, Xiaomi proves that it knows how to make quality products at a reasonable price.
UPDATE:
I won't change anything from my previous review. I will just add the usage reason in the 2 years that I have owned it. I have covered 4000km+. The battery hasn't shown any difference at all. It still consumes 6% per kilometer. Problems that have occurred:
1st: The cable got cut due to folding and placing it in the car trunk. I fold it almost every day. The cable is called intergrade cable and costs €20. The new cable seems, visually at least, more reinforced than the old one.
2nd: The display monitor got damaged. Cost €50.
Only these two serious problems.
However, the biggest problem I faced is that there is no specialized personnel to help with repairs (for the electrical parts). Unfortunately, I have read more than the University to be able to find the fault, especially in the first case. Nevertheless, I would still buy it. It is incredibly convenient.
Update 10/2022: Total kilometers 10,000+. Now the battery started to drain quickly during winter at temperatures below 10°C. During summer, it still consumes 6% per kilometer. I also replaced the 2nd display monitor at 7000km, cost €70 now. But I repaired the damaged one at a technician (PCB repair €20) and I have a spare in case the new one breaks in 3000-4000km. The intergrade cable is still holding up. No other problems. The bicycle was purchased in September 2017. I have had it for 5 years with a small modification and child seats. In our times, it is incredibly convenient.
I cycle 5.5 km to get to my work. The bike is just what I need. I arrive in less time than with the car. You see the city with a different eye. Additionally, you have the ability to store it anywhere.
The bike case is very good. Convenient, fast, comfortable, goes everywhere, fits in a car.
It's super.
If the following were not there, it would be super perfect.
I didn't like the following:
1) It does not have fenders so it does not ride on wet roads because it splashes water. How much would it cost them. I did put fenders but with a patent because it is difficult to fit.
2) Without assistance, the pedal is very heavy. It drags with difficulty. In other words, it's not for a ride without assistance.
3) I don't know why but it doesn't go hands-free.
4) I would like the handlebars to be a little higher (5 points). While its saddle goes up very high, I think the handlebars are a bit low.
5) The saddle is a bit hard.
6) The bell is only heard by the one who rings it. Would it bother them to put one that works with battery power? Or at least a louder one?
I put a 9v buzzer and press it constantly.
I think 1 and 6 are unjustified.
I have been a owner for 2 months, the bike is beautiful and of high quality construction. It has a very good autonomy and is very stable when riding. It is lightweight, easy to store but you can't lock it outside, although this is a common issue with folding bikes. I also have a Dahon and I face the same problem. Overall, it is worth its money. The app doesn't work due to the personal data law in Europe, if you check, the application is not available in the stores. I wrote about it to info quest but they never replied, I found out about it through China.
I have it for a week... it suits me because it is foldable and that's the reason I bought it so I can have it inside my workplace because outside it's not safe, they will steal it! It's easy to go when you have the assistance of the battery. The only downside is that it doesn't have front suspension... you feel everything if the road is not good... What I haven't found yet is how to connect my phone because I haven't found Bluetooth! Probably only the Chinese version has it and not the Greek one that I have.
Update 14/5/2019... The spokes of the rear wheel break very often. The cost of repair is not high but it's a hassle every now and then!

I think out of all the things I have bought over time (consoles, phones, psvr, etc...) this is one of the most useful and best 800€ I have ever spent. Of course, in installments... :) 36 interest-free.
