INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLER "It's mine!" "No, it's mine!" "He pushed me!"... "I didn't even touch her!" "You gave him more than you gave me!" Award-winning authors Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish refuse to accept the widely held view that the inevitable price of having more than one child is endless fights and arguments. Drawing from their personal experiences as well as the essence of hundreds of experiential workshops they have organized across the USA, the authors have designed simple yet remarkably effective approaches aimed at reducing conflicts and fostering a positive atmosphere and good mood among siblings. Each skill is vividly described through thoughts and true stories narrated by real people. Lively dialogues and delightful sketches show you: - how to help children express their feelings without harming each other - how to treat each child differently yet still be fair - how to promote cooperation instead of competition - how to help both the "bully" and the "victim" - how to reduce anger and encourage siblings to think of their own solutions instead of fighting. Updated and revised, "Siblings Without Rivalry" offers truly original ideas and insights into sibling relationships and shows us how we can incorporate these ideas into our daily lives.

If you have 2+ kids, get it immediately! It explains incredible things to you, why the kids fight, how to manage better, and you understand why they have this reaction, with their parents and among themselves. Many examples from other parents, problems and how they solved them, sketches, etc. I'll say one thing. I wish my parents had read it..
Original book that presents advice for sibling relationships and how parents handle the problems that arise. The only observation is that it refers to older children who can understand basic instructions and not to infants, for example.
