    Very mediocre and indifferent. I bought it because my wife liked the packaging, but I have never had a more indifferent coffee. Definitely the worst I have ever had (over 10 in the price category). Although it's not bad, it is so indifferent that I prefer to drink bad coffee that at least has some interest.

    In order to understand the quality of the coffee one is drinking, they should drink it plain and of course its preparation should meet all the necessary parameters in order to yield the correct result. I consider this particular coffee to be very good for my own taste at least. There are definitely better ones out there, but for its price, I consider it fair. I have bought one kilogram and I think I will buy another once it runs out.

    As a classic consumer of basic Hausbrandt coffee beans, I thought that by trying the canal grande, I would have a development in taste and enjoyment. Personally, I don't think I achieved that with this coffee. It is certainly a very good coffee, but for my taste, I don't believe it makes you love it. It lacks intensity, aromas, and its body in a freddo espresso doesn't "hold up"..
    Of course, all these things I mention do not make it a mediocre coffee because they concern my personal taste.

    P.S. For those who are looking for it, I was very impressed by danessi!

    Very good experience with this one. I was looking for an alternative to Jacobs Prof, which recently had issues with roast dates. It's a bit weaker in terms of taste, body, and bitterness compared to Jacobs, which is barely noticeable especially in cold coffee. (It might also be a matter of coffee management on my part, as I am still perfecting extraction and grinding, and the kilo hasn't finished yet.) In any case, it's a very good coffee.     Overall:
    Low acidity, full-bodied, strong aroma whether cold or hot. The crema is so-so. When I first got it, it was richer. However, in the last few coffees, I had issues.
    Unlike other coffees, I didn't have to throw away 1/4 by doing tests. I found the right settings quite quickly, which are almost the same as the Hausbrandt ones I have tried.
    The differences with Hausbrandt classic and gourmet, which I have tried, are not many.

    Price:
    So-so. Maybe it could be lower, but you get Hausbrandt.

    Overall:
    The experience was good. Aesthetically, the packaging is beautiful, it exudes authentic premium quality. I wasn't as thrilled as some others write in the comments. I would buy it again at €25.

    A friend who works at a café gave me a few beans to try. Having tried many commercial coffees from various companies, I have to say that if you know how to make coffee and follow certain standards in the proper preparation of espresso, you will never drink coffee from outside again. Excellent in flavor and also hot. Since everything is a matter of taste and personal preference, I wouldn't trade it for any other coffee, especially when it comes to commercial coffees. The price is steep, but it's worth the money.

    I had tried it at a café and I liked it a lot. Generally, I like strong coffees. I bought it for home use with a Delonghi Dedica machine and also a Delonghi KG79 grinder with the setting for a finer grind. Pressurized double basket, high temperature, 14g freshly ground coffee, strong tamping, and 27 seconds extraction. The result in a fresh espresso shot is that I can't enjoy coffee anywhere else but at home. It is the best there is at the moment and I am not even willing to experiment with any other brand or variety. This is exactly where we are.

    I will come back with a test using a non-pressurized basket and 17 grams of coffee, although I honestly can't imagine a better result than the current one. It beats them all
