In 2022, the Pixel 3? ... Of course, yes, for 244€ you get a flagship phone with premium materials, build quality worth triple the price, and you can be sure it will withstand the test of time. As soon as I opened it, it upgraded to Android 12, it has all the modern "magic" of Google in its software. Its single camera, although it lacks options for more advanced photography enthusiasts, you know it won't disappoint you with any click (in fact, it works wonders in night mode, 360, panorama, etc.). In conclusion, compared to other three phones of the same price range that we got as a family this year, the Pixel is by far the most high-quality, humble, simple, and not overhyped... for someone like me who doesn't care about trends, the new and just wants it to do its job, not be afraid of breaking, never freeze, the Pixel 3 is the best value for money you can buy right now!

I bought it a month ago (early 11/2019).
I had a nexus 5x before, then the pixel 1, and an iPhone 8 until recently before the pixel 3.
By far the best camera I have ever had on a device, I don't know if it's better than a Huawei p30 or not, and I don't care to be honest. What matters to me is that it takes perfect or almost perfect photos (and videos of course) because whether good or bad, smartphones have replaced traditional digital cameras and this is how we take photos now, whether for fun or for family, etc.

I wanted to write my review earlier, but I waited to test its battery. It is very good and I am satisfied with it. For example, from 8 in the morning with continuous use (data, GPS, Bluetooth), by 3 or 4 in the afternoon, it needs to be charged. But I emphasize, with continuous use.
However, from 8 in the morning with normal use (a little internet, Facebook, calls, etc.), meaning normal, you can easily go until 10 or 11 at night, maybe even with 20% battery left, most likely.

It doesn't make sense for me to write anything else positive or negative, after all, it depends on what each person is looking for out there. I was looking for a normal size, a good camera, and a good battery, and I found them. Nevertheless, it's worth mentioning that it also has very good sound and everything I do is very fast and smooth. I got it on sale for $430 (excluding VAT) and I consider that I made a very good choice.

I have had this phone for a year, its quality is quite satisfactory, I bought it for 650 euros from London and I think it is one of the best purchases I have made. Its strong point is the camera, which is why I chose it. I believe it has the best (in my opinion) even compared to the s10 in night shots, at least with the pixel 3 I managed to capture the stars while with the s10 I did not. The video quality is satisfactory, but I would like it to have the ability to shoot 60fps 4k. The screen resolution is quite satisfactory, it does not heat up too much during gaming. The battery is small, so you will definitely need a second charge during the day, which lasts 40 minutes with its charger. The sound is average without being impressive. The software is incredibly fast and one of the very positive aspects is that you are one of the first to receive updates. One of the negatives for Greece is that accessories can only be purchased through the site from abroad. Of course, the package includes a USB type C to mini jack fast charger and hands-free. In conclusion, for 650€ and below with unlimited storage on Google cloud and the best camera compared to others costing 1000€... I think it is the best choice.

Owner of the device since 25/12/18. I bought it through the official Google store from France, but the buying experience was the worst I could have. Not only because it took a month to arrive, but also because there was no update from the company regarding the delay. Unacceptable behavior for a giant like Google.
The price for the phone was unacceptable when it was first released in Greece and even now... It should have cost at least 200 euros less, but I believe the same for Apple phones...
Now, about the device. Note that my previous phone was the Xperia Z5, so inevitably it remains in the back of my mind as a point of comparison.
In terms of appearance, I consider it quite beautiful (I have the Just Black version), but it doesn't match the beauty of the S9, which I also researched extensively and was one of my options. I like that I can handle it with one hand and it fully satisfies me in that aspect. I'm not a fan of large phones. Compared to the Z5, it has a larger screen but smaller dimensions, and being in the 18:9 aspect ratio category, it has a narrower width and fits perfectly in the palm. However, this is purely a matter of taste. The packaging includes a charger, compatible earphones with USB-C, and a USB-C to 3.5mm jack adapter. Therefore, you can still connect your old headphones without having to buy Bluetooth ones.
The screen is a 5.5-inch P-OLED and it seems very good to me. When I put it side by side with the S9, it seems slightly inferior, especially in brightness, but the average user will be fully satisfied. The bezels are larger than those of other brands, but it doesn't bother me and it helps me when taking photos and holding it with two hands, so I don't touch the screen.
The speakers are incredibly loud and I haven't noticed the asymmetry in volume between the two speakers that was mentioned for the Pixel 3 XL.
The battery is quite satisfactory. It lasts me a day with Wi-Fi or data constantly on, Bluetooth on, and using it extensively for apps like Instagram and Facebook. The charging is quite fast, reaching 100% in a little less than 2 hours. Note that the fast charger is included in the box.
The software, as a user experience, is something different compared to previous versions of Android. Personally, I got used to it and I don't have any issues, as many reviews on YouTube mention. The problem I faced and struggled to solve was with the Facebook notifications, which weren't appearing, but it turned out to be something related to battery optimization. A big downside for me is the lack of a notification LED... For example, if I receive a message and I'm not next to the phone to hear or see it, I will never notice it unless I unlock the phone. Also, the home screen cannot be fully customized (which has always been a characteristic of Android)... You can't remove the date and weather display from the top of the screen, nor the Google search bar from the bottom. Also, you can't swipe the screen to the left and add apps. There are either news or nothing, and I haven't found a way to change it. Other than that, the phone is very fast and I haven't experienced any lag. The Google Assistant is quite good, but it still struggles in Greek. If you change the language to English, you will be able to fully utilize all the features.
I finally left the camera. It is the most impressive feature of the phone. Do not listen to what they say at DxoMark. In the past, they have given high ratings to phones that were not the best (like my old Z5) and vice versa so I do not trust them. Watch the countless reviews on youtube not only from reviewers but also from photographers. I have seen side by side photos with s9, mate 20 pro, iphone xs... The pixel is simply better. The colors are much closer to reality, the dynamic contrast is better, the night site is simply superior to Huawei's. It neither gives you faded colors due to overexposure (s9, iphone xs) nor exaggerates them excessively through AI, producing a fantastic photo like Huawei's. Of course, if someone wants a photo where the colors pop out of the screen as if they have applied filters from the beginning, then the pixel is not for them. It's like they say, 8 out of 10 times the pixel will give you a better photo than anything out there. And the more photos it takes, the better it gets. The selfie camera is simply unbeatable. The video is good and I haven't compared it to other phones, but for the average user it won't be a problem. The stabilization is one of the best out there. All in all, personally I do not regret it except maybe for the external appearance where I prefer the curved shape of s9, xz3, mate 20 pro. Now of course, as for the price issue, clearly the phone is on the high side... If you find an offer from abroad for around 600 and you have a contact, go for it.
