Reviews
So, I bought the Hi version, the highest version, in early October 2021, and I have had them for about 6.5 months. During this time, I have used them as my main shoes for work and daily hikes. I have walked in all conditions and on all terrains, especially rocky terrains. They are durable, and the wear and tear they have endured (especially with my unique walking style) is minimal. One of the boots slightly opened at the front where the sole attaches to the toe of the shoe, but it was repaired and it's not a big issue. They provide relative comfort, but they are not like athletic shoes. The sole is good with excellent grip, although it struggles on wet rocks. They offer stability and sturdiness despite being fabric shoes. The protection they provide is excellent, but it's difficult to clean.
As for insulation and waterproofing, they are not winter boots, so they require warm socks in cold weather. Waterproofing is a bit of an issue. Until recently, within the 6 months, they were quite waterproof, especially in snow or light rain. However, I noticed that the fabric in the front, below the toe protection, detached from the outer part and "folded." This, combined with my unique walking style that wears out the inner fabric in that area, makes the boots not waterproof. The water that enters there cannot be repelled by the membrane because it has folded on one side and there is a small hole on the other side, and without direct contact between the membrane and the outer part of the shoe, it doesn't function properly. However, there is no problem with the rest of the shoe. Waterproofing is essential for me, but from what I understand, if it doesn't have leather and rubber protection around it, there is no serious waterproofing for me. Apart from that, it generally holds up well and will definitely accompany me on many more hikes.
