for the past 18 years, I only wear aku slope gtx during winter.

I had them for 10 years with very harsh use on winter and summer trips, hiking, walking the dog, farm work, etc., and without any care. I think that the reason they rusted in some areas is because I never washed them afterwards, especially after snow. I will buy them again.

I have been using AKU shoes for several years. The shoe is very high quality, it just needs a little breaking in because the sole is a bit hard at first. Once it breaks in, it is a pure mountaineering shoe.

Very good shoe, it will support you wherever you wear it, whether it's for a walk in the winter or in the mountains, it does it all!
