The machine operates flawlessly, after installing the program that is available on the CD included in the package. As for those who claim that it cannot save multiple pages in a PDF, they simply need to scan all the pages and BEFORE saving, select all the pages on the left with Shift and down arrow or alternatively with Control and left mouse click, just like selecting files for copy/move/delete.
September 2022: The product was defective, it couldn't read the device, it would freeze during scanning. Every time I shut down the computer, I had to reinstall the software the next day. Two weeks ago, I reported it for warranty and after speaking with 2 companies, 2 employees, and several emails, they replaced it for me. It's not the same model, of course, which strengthens my doubts about this specific model, but the next one they sent me works perfectly!

Very fast, excellent scanning of documents & photos and quite a bit quieter than the LiDE 90 I had for 10+ years!! I definitely recommend it without reservation!!!

Perfect, convenient, and fast. It doesn't need a power supply as it is powered through the port. It was very helpful that it converts files to .pdf and can convert multiple scans into a single file. For its price, it's worth the purchase

Quite a good scanner for its price, I bought it for professional use in photos and sketches. The only negative thing is that it doesn't fully recognize MacBooks, it doesn't open the Canon Scan utility, and I don't have the ability to do stitching. :(

I scanned about 13,000 photos for 5 years and it worked perfectly. Then it gave me the error that another user mentioned above (code error 2, 156, 33), but now the warranty doesn't cover it. For the work I did, it was worth the money, but I would have expected it to last longer.

I use it to scan paintings/sketches, as well as documents occasionally, and I am very satisfied with the results! The only issue I have noticed is the difficulty in accurately capturing red colors, but this is challenging for all scanners and cameras.

I bought it to digitize family photos (around 1000).
Amazing job. Very easy and fast.
- Very easy to set up (but you need to know a few things like how to download drivers, how to adjust settings that suit you, etc.)
- Automatically crops the photos even if you put more than 1 in each scan. It separates and saves them in the folder you want.
- Explosive resolution, I can print a giant poster if I want with any scan.
- Normal speed. 8 seconds for one page (sometimes even 5 photos).
In 4 hours, I scanned and archived 600 photos at a relaxed pace

Very nice and useful machine. I have already scanned over 300 documents and I didn't have the slightest problem. I have also tried some old photos and the quality was very good.
It works perfectly on Linux with the XSane program. It needed a little setup but now it is stable and works without any problems.
Through the accompanying application, you can scan multiple-page PDFs and then edit the PDF, for example, change the orientation of each page (rotate), change the order of the pages, and add pages to the PDF.

The scanner is quite lightweight and relatively quiet. The big positive is that it doesn't require extra power but only the USB cable. The scans look good, although they don't leave you in awe even at the highest resolution I use to scan photos. Usually, I scan three photos simultaneously and the file size it produces is about 100MB. At the highest resolution you can reach, it is quite slow, while the accompanying software is quite user-unfriendly (at first encounter) and outdated.

I come from Epson perfection 3200. Due to the lack of drivers for win10 64, Epson forced me to buy a new scanner this way. Of course, I won't compare the two scanners (it's like day and night), but I believe that for this price, considering that I researched it thoroughly before deciding, through skroutz.gr as always, it is a decent purchase.

I hadn't bought a scanner in a long time and compared to the Canon I had, which was 15 years old, this one seems kind of fake. For now, it does its job but it's mediocre in terms of photo quality.

I don't have much experience with scanners. But I scanned about 1000 photos and other documents for our family archive. I highly recommend it to everyone because its construction is excellent, its connectivity is immediate, and the scanning quality is top-notch!

Excellent device for its cost. Instant connection, small size, easy to use from the device's buttons as well as from the computer. I use it with the Microsoft Scan and NAPS 2 applications. It scans multiple documents into a single PDF file. The performance in scanning images is also satisfactory.

For the connection, you simply connect the cable and activate it. For scanning, I needed to download an application to scan because the buttons were not doing anything. With the application, it's fine, each page is a separate PDF, but I would like to combine 2-3 pages into one PDF in some cases... But it's okay because you can merge the PDFs afterwards and everything is fine... It would just be helpful if it had that from the beginning... I do my job very well and easily even like this.
UPDATE: With the Canon u scan utility application, I solved any issue I had... Many pages in one PDF and you can do wonders through the settings of this application!!! Top scanner for that money

Very good machine. It connects directly to a Mac. It requires an additional application, Canon IJ Utility Lite, to easily and simply adjust its settings and utilize all its capabilities. It supports multi-page scanning and direct email sending. The colors are very realistic. Its speed is very decent for amateur use. Its size is very convenient. Its functions can also be executed using the external buttons. It is a value for money purchase!
Although at first, due to the reviews, I had reservations, in the end, it was worth buying. Easy to use and install, it does not require power supply (it gets power from the computer), scans perfectly fine.
It's a fake purchase and I returned it because it doesn't connect at all, even though I tried with 3 different laptops. It always showed code error 2, 156, 33. I googled it and everyone said it doesn't connect to anything and returned it. So, nobody should buy it, it's garbage and they will have a bad experience and go through a return process, and if the company that sent it is good, otherwise it's a waste of money

Although I have no experience with other scanners, I will say that I was particularly pleased with this purchase. Beautiful construction, easy to use. It is small in size, so it can be stored anywhere. As for its scanning speed, it is satisfactory, considering its price.
It is the cheapest scanner and as such I will evaluate it.
Its construction is of medium quality, but fully acceptable based on price. Its buttons have good response and it is quite lightweight.
Its connection and power supply are done through the provided USB cable (no need for a power outlet). The cable is about one meter long (it could be longer). For maximum performance, Canon recommends connecting it to USB 3.
It is recognized immediately, its software is comprehensive in terms of settings, configurations, and options.
Its efficiency is more than satisfactory, based on its specifications. Good speed (the approximately 10" that Canon mentions is accurate), very good result both in printing and on the screen, mainly for documents with mixed content and not so much for photos (it will get the job done but don't expect much for photos).
The sound during its operation will take you back to the era of dial-up internet connection, but as I mentioned before, I know that I am buying a cheap product, so I don't have higher expectations.
For someone who wants a scanner to have, it is just what they need, cheap, effective, and honest.
