The game is very good. In my attempt to hack it, I broke a memory game. So you need to be careful if you don't know. Anyway, even without hacking it, it's worth it. Good controls, beautiful console for 60 euros, which is just fine! Of course, if you hack it, you can play many more and better games. I love my PlayStation Classic
This particular console has only collectible value; if you are not a collector, do not buy it for your child because they will not engage with it. Also, I want to mention for the nostalgic ones that the selection of games is not the best; I understand that there will always be someone complaining because with 20 games you cannot satisfy everyone, but for this specific console, everyone says it. This console was created to remind us where we started in gaming. To play again the games that marked our childhood. So for its purpose, it is very good. The only thing I would change is the variety of games (many important ones are missing) and the price could be at lower levels...

On its own, the console doesn't say much. However, anyone who gets involved and turns it into an emulator will truly enjoy it more than any other retro console
The price is excessive for what it offers. Essentially, it is an emulator in a much smaller PS box. The 20 pre-installed games are relatively good choices, with the standout being Tekken, which has seen a lot of play. It comes with 2 controllers, but without a power cable (it can take from a mobile charger) and HDMI.
However, it is worth looking into how to load other titles via USB, for example, with Bleemsync, which is very easy to do and doesn't require any knowledge. For a few games, it handles it easily, so someone could load their favorites that are not offered (e.g., Crash, FIFA, etc.), but for many, it struggles, and this is because the console does not provide enough power to the USB (it goes into the slot instead of the controller) and has difficulty loading it.
In general, there are things they could have done better. The NES Classic would have been a better choice, but unfortunately, it is sold out.
Personally, I had a good experience using the console, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for €95. At most, it’s worth €40 - €45, not more. Also, it has the controllers without the analog sticks, so some games won't offer as good an experience as they could.
At a price max of 40 euros, a good purchase... If you add other games, then it is an excellent choice.. As for the rest, it's only for collectors

It is very good and powerful; the extras needed are a USB stick and an OTG cable. It plays PSX, PSP, GBA, GBC, Dreamcast, DOS games, and now they have started to port games for PC

It is a combination of nostalgia and price (30e) that led me to this purchase. Unfortunately, it does not have a variety of games, but from what I have seen, you can add quite a few with a stick.
I don't have it, I give it 3 stars because I have used it from a friend of mine.
Well, first of all, it has nothing to do with the authentic chipped PS1 that I have. The build quality of the console is not good at all, as well as the controllers. It cannot play above 670p 50fps, which in my opinion is reasonable because I have heard some say that the console has old games from 1996 and onwards, so they couldn't have the best resolution. Also, the other issue with the games is that it only has 20 pre-installed, and not even with a USB stick or hard drive when plugged in, which is bad because there aren't many games, and of those it has, only a few are worth it. Even if I didn't have the authentic one, I wouldn't pay 100 euros that it cost at first; now I might consider getting it for 40-45 euros that it costs.

The console, if purchased to play without any modification (mod hack), is not worth much given that it will play on a high-definition screen. Now, in case it is purchased and we do a modification, then it is the best; the modification adds not only games but also hidden menus for higher resolution and save states
I got it for 40 euros plus a 64GB USB 2.0 for a total of 50 euros. I entered autobleem, followed the instructions, downloaded another 80 games, and I'm reliving my nostalgia again. As a console, I would say it's worth around 30 euros with what it has inside. But since Sony is clever enough to leave it unlocked and within a few minutes you can add any game you want (without Sony needing to buy rights, I imagine that's how it works), that's quite clever. So it's definitely worth it and then some. I'm going to play Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball, Need for Speed, C12, etc., now to remember the old games and the old times. If you're buying the console, just add the games.
Sony, thank you very much for allowing us to relive the pure and innocent 90's gaming!!! The generation that didn't care about flashy graphics and effects but about gaming itself and the joy it brings. Whether at 60 euros or 30 euros, the Playstation Classic is 100% worth the money, given that you can add as many games as you want for free in just a few minutes (depending on each person's USB stick capacity). The only thing it lacks is an external power supply, but nowadays, I don't think this is a problem for anyone since everyone has chargers for mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, etc. For adding games, check out tutorials on YouTube for BleemSync, Autobleem, or Retroboot (Autobleem is the simplest). The USB Stick should be 2.0, renamed as SONY, and formatted to Fat32 (in properties). If it’s not in Fat32, download the Mini Tool Wizard Partition for free on the internet and watch the Arcade Punks tutorial on YouTube; it’s very easy. So, once you buy it and "hack" it, feel like you were 20 years ago and imagine having all the games for free without having to pay a fortune or paying 5 to 10 euros per game at your local store to have them burned onto a CD for your chipped Playstation!! How would you really feel?? MAGICAL!! And how would you feel if after a while you were told that you could also play all the games of all the other classic consoles and systems from the 80's and 90's (Sega all, Nintendo up to the N64, Atari all, NeoGeo, Amiga, Commodore 64, NEC PC Engine, ZX Spectrum, DOS, etc.) for free??? Like in paradise, of course!!! :)
P.S. 1: Personally, I would recommend the Sandisk Cruzer Blade 64 gb or the same with 128 gb for the flash drive (USB Stick). I have the first one; it holds a lot of games and emulators and is just fine. Of course, if you see that the space fills up, you can safely delete whatever you don’t want and add it back in the future.
P.S. 2: You can also use any controller you want (e.g., PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Wii, GameCube, etc.) via the 8 Bitdo USB Wireless / Bluetooth Adapter. However, you will need to spend around 20 euros to get it.
P.S. 3: The best and safest sites (without any fear of viruses) to download games are psxrenzukoken.com, which has many rare and hard-to-find ROMs (not always in English), and vimm.net, from where you simply select the "the vault" menu. Just be careful to download the games one by one because downloading many at once will cause it to freeze. Until emuparadise is operational again, vimm and renzukoken are the top two.

You can hack it and play any game you want, with a stick that holds about 60 games, from Nintendo Sega etc. up to 32-bit resolution. And you can make the graphics even better. If you download a hack program. And you can also play with the PS4 controller with a special stick that you will find on eBay for 3 or 4 euros.
I didn't give it a 5 because it's ridiculous that they don't include a power supply.. come on Sony.. Overall, I can say that apart from the classic games inside, I bought it just to have it in my collection.. and with its small size, it makes it perfect to have somewhere just to see it and smile saying that you used to play it a lot.. back when you were a little kid!
As well as the kids, it was purchased in the recent offer of €30. If you were looking for an original PS1 separately with some of the games it has inside, it would easily go for €50, so at €30 it's vfm!! I haven't tried to hack it yet, but I've seen it's simple... because with this in mind it was purchased, get it in the offer that just came out because only then it's worth it and obviously to install other games on it.. Edit after a while, at least I struggled with the hacking with a USB stick and the games run with a significant slowdown for me. Edit 2, vfm!! With Project Eris, it now takes a USB3 OTG cable for full USB stick compatibility, it has emulation station and you can play NES, SNES, GBA, so even if the price went up, it's worth the purchase!!!
At €30 and with the ability to have almost all PS1, NINTENDO, DREAMCAST, GBA, SEGA, N64 games and any arcade game (MAME) you want in 5 minutes, there is nothing like it.... As a simple console with pre-installed games, it doesn't say much... but the fact that you can load it up... gives it a 10++++ rating.... Simply incredible..... Look for Autobleem, RetroBoot, or Bleemsync on YouTube... Perfect for a gift.... console + a USB stick with the games and both kids and adults can play for days...
The best thing for a gift but also for yourself, I got 3 for 30, one for personal use and the others are perfect for a gift.

It's definitely the best with good company anywhere with a TV with HDMI, about 50 multiplayer games on the autobleem, you can spend 10 hours without realizing it...

I bought it on sale for €30, at this price it is one of the most value-for-money products I have purchased. The controllers are of excellent quality, and the HDMI and micro USB ports seem to be quite durable over time.
€30 for nostalgia with 20 games and 2 controllers is worth it.
As for the hack that allows you to add "unlimited" games, it takes the console to another level.
Two words: BleemSync + OTG Cable (€3.5). You don't need special computer knowledge to make it work. To make it clearer, I've had it for 3 days:
- Day 1 I connected it and saw the games
- Day 2 I played 5-6 games
- Day 3 I added (BleemSync) and now I have over 80 games and I'm still going...
This particular console and this specific version, if judged objectively by someone (and not by Sony fanboys), is the definition of mediocrity. Initially, some of the biggest titles from the PS1 are missing from the games, which can be fixed if you search a bit on the internet on how to add extra games. But all the other problems remain. Firstly, the console is smaller than a tablet, which some may like and others not, but there is an issue with its performance. In most games, there are lags and frame drops, while the sound has huge issues. The controllers are 99% like the old ones, but there is a huge problem. The cable is half the length of the original. Also, it does not provide a power supply, so you have to find an old charger on your own. The truth is, I don’t know if fast chargers work. In conclusion, we have a console with reduced performance compared to our memories, and objectively speaking, I think that 30 euros is the limit to be satisfied. Anything above that purely depends on the nostalgia someone feels to play or replay these games.
For those who complain that there are few games, know that you can put AS MANY and whatever games you want with a USB flash drive, without tampering with the console and the warranty. Look it up, it's out there. The console is very good for its price now that the price has dropped and a way has been found to play other games besides the pre-installed ones. The build quality is satisfactory and together with its box, it is a beautiful collectible item. That's it!
I've had it for about half a year... I bought it for €60. Now that I see it's being sold for €30, I know I wasted half the money... I've used it a couple of times for about an hour and then it went into the closet... It could definitely support a higher screen resolution... It has something like lag on its own... Three stars instead of 2.5 just for the idea of classic...

Some people are dissatisfied with this move by Sony. It is logical for this to happen since players who had their consoles were more "gamers" than fanboys of the company (and as is well known, a classic edition is mainly intended for "fans" and collectors), as is the case with Nintendo. Sony had a wide range of games on its consoles, resulting in attracting players from all categories. Therefore, it is reasonable that it is almost impossible to satisfy everyone, and it is also impossible for games to be appreciated by people who have not played them in the past or who played some sequels on a later console.
It was therefore logical for there to be negative reviews specifically for this console and specifically from die-hard Sony gamers (and not so much for other classic console reissues). I say this to clarify to those considering buying it that the negative reviews mainly come from people with much higher expectations due to experience. The console is objectively very good, especially for its price, as it offers 20 genuine games that if someone were to buy separately, they would pay much more even if they bought worn and poorly handled discs.
For me, it is worth buying as the games it offers (at least most of those that are pre-installed) are classic masterpieces that no one plays for their graphics and performance but for the story, simplicity, and seriousness of the work that distinguishes them. Resident Evil, Abe's Odyssey, GTA, Tekken, Metal Gear, etc., are games on which the evolution of later similar titles, as well as gaming in general, was based, and it is worth playing them in every era and at every age.
With such a price and build quality, the whole package with 2 controllers and all the cables + the 20 games is a very good choice for both nostalgic players and new players who want to have a complete experience.
The console is beautiful, as are the controllers. With some effort, I managed to hack it with 180 games. What Soul Blade, what Sega Rally, what FIFA 2005. What Soul Calibur, Alien Tobal 1, and many other great games. Now it is not just a simple console but a best-of to play for years. Be careful with the sticks; few are compatible. Unfortunately, Sony for some reason did not include the good games that were released on the PS1, but as for build quality and in general, it is a very nice console. I still use my PS1 to play some games; I just don't like that I don't have a digital HDMI output, and on the new TVs, it doesn't look good. Generally, it's fun with friends, and it doesn't take up much space. And from what I know, some have found a way to load other games, so if you have PS1 games, there is a way to run them on the classic. Personally, I haven't tried it; I've just seen different videos. In my opinion, it is a very interesting console and relatively cheap, so why not? :)
