The 80 Plus Gold certification ensures 90% efficiency at 50% load. Better power efficiency leads to less energy waste, less heat, and less noise from the fan. And with support for Intel processors, it will save more energy and more money.
Fully Modular Design
All black flat cables are modular in design. Install only the cables you need to reduce clutter, increase airflow, and improve the thermal performance of the case.
100% Japanese-Made Capacitors
All capacitors are high-quality Japanese capacitors, designed to deliver efficient performance and ensure greater reliability.
135mm Fan
The fan speed is adjusted according to the system load. And the fan will stop when the system is idle or under low load (less than 20% load). The 2-bearing structure provides a longer lifespan.
System Protection
The Gigabyte Aorus protects your PC from over power (OPP), over voltage (OVP), under voltage (UVP), over current (OCP), over temperature (OTP) and short circuit (SCP).

Just a reliable power supply. It does exactly what the description says, it hasn't had any issues for a year now and it's very convenient that it's modular.
Sturdy and quality with all the cables you need in a case.
The cables bend sufficiently for good cable management (depending on the case) but they have some capacitors at the end that can be organized with a tie wrap.
So far, I haven't heard it; I hear more noise from the fans than from this. The 850 is enough and more than sufficient for a normal machine.
This specific power supply is quite high-quality and definitely reliable as it is Gigabyte Aorus. It was purchased for 100€ and I consider it to be the best on the market for this price. I believe it is better to spend a little more money on a better and reliable power supply because it will last you a decade with many years of warranty. The only negative aspect is its cables, as they are not flexible at all and it has some capacitors at the end of the cable on the side that connects to the motherboard, making it look somewhat unattractive. Despite this, it is a good purchase if you are looking for a power supply. The issue with the cables can be solved with some Cable Extensions.
Bought this to put into a new PC, heavy construction, a plethora of different cables come with it. I did not have any issues in connecting everything i needed.
Do keep in mind these are not braided cables but ribbon cables and as such you may run into spacing issues. I had a hard time connecting the CPU power cable due to spacing issues between the motherboard i have and the case fans.
It is great value for the money, but just keep in mind the ribbons.
Awesome power supply, flexible and plenty of cables.
Gold certification, protection from various problems we often have in bad weather, such as voltage fluctuations, sudden power outages, etc., so we can have peace of mind.
(Of course, we should not rely solely on this, it would be good to invest in a good voltage stabilizer as well)
On my computer, I have:
i5-10400f - 16GB RAM - 2 M.2/1 SSD/1 HDD
GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition and 6 Fans - 5 120mm and 1 200mm.
The packaging is very nice and well protected, inside the power supply along with a nice bag that has all the cables.
The fan doesn't work as long as it has a low load, but to be honest, even if it did work, I wouldn't be able to tell with so many fans running.
However, be careful with the cables, they don't have any protection, like a mesh guard that many others have, which is not something terribly negative, nor did it bother me.
For the 120 euros I paid, I have no complaints.
When we have a serious computer, it is good for its "heart" to be right.
Happy shopping.
It's simply PERFECT! I don't need to say anything else, it has everything. It has many ports for everything, it's vfm, it has gold certification and it's 850w while costing 91€. Buy it without second thoughts.
Decent, quiet on a 13600K, 4070 Ti with 32 GB DDR5-6000 with Noctua NH-D15, 2 system fans, 1 SSD, 1 NVME, 1 SATA HDD and plenty of USB peripheral devices, I haven't noticed the slightest problem no matter how much I have stressed the machine.
I connected it correctly, I press to open it, it gets power, the fan spins for 3 seconds, stops, and does not provide any power to the motherboard.. the same thing happened to another person here in the reviews. Updated review: I sent it back for "repair", waited 20 days for them to tell me that it works fine, they sent it back to me without any further information or help, I tried again with a specialist on the hardware part and it still didn't work and did the same thing. I have been trying to contact them for a long time and they are not helping me at all.. unacceptable!
The PSU market is both over-saturated with cheap brands of power supplies and experiencing significant shortages lately (we're talking about quarantine No.27453, February 2021), although it is slowly recovering.
2. The Gigabyte Aorus P850W has everything you can expect from a modern power supply. It is fully modular, meaning you can have the cables you need without cluttering your PC with unnecessary ones.
3. The cables are all thin and can be easily arranged, but they do not have any additional external shielding like the Corsair RM850, which has not caused any problems in 2 months of use. Because they are glossy, they may not appeal to some who prefer a more matte finish in combination with RGB.
4. The 80 Plus Gold category and multiple safety circuits leave your mind at ease about whether something will burn out in case of sudden power outages/voltage changes, which often happen in Greece, especially during rainy periods.
5. The packaging also includes a carrying bag (because every Wednesday you take the power supply to the park to do its business) from Aorus, which is good for storing extra cables/tools, etc.
6. Overall, a good purchase, quiet and very sturdy, but be careful about the price - up to 160.00 is very good for its wattage.
