    It is not easy to loosen the laces (tighten and loosen), which are quite thick, in order to open up for the child's foot to fit in, resulting in struggling and pushing quite a bit to get them on (to clarify, we always opened the side zipper as well). The shoes look very nice, the materials and final fit are very nice, but in the end, we avoided them many times because the whole process was troublesome, especially when we were in a hurry.
