I bought it 2 months ago for shaving my head and body. I was skeptical, but from the first time, the performance of the trimmer head on the head impressed me greatly. The best purchase of a razor, with two different heads for shaving and trimming. I have been using it since 2014, shaving 2-3 times a week for 8 years, and it has endured well (although the battery is starting to act up now). It only needs a replacement of the metal mesh in the front every 3 years (€10). If you clean and oil it once every two months, and only charge it when the battery is in the red, it will last as long for you as it has for me.

Coming from the Braun bodygroomer BG5010, the Philips BG7025 has already shown me from the first use that it is a better machine. The Braun easily clogged and/or pulled hairs, and I had to use it slowly.

The Philips BG7025 has 2 heads, one for trimming and one for shaving. None of the heads clogged or pulled hairs. The trimming cuts the hairs between 3-11 mm. The shaving cuts the hairs very close (about 1 mm), but not completely like a razor. It is easy to use and clean, and can be used in the shower for shaving. The shaving head only needs to be replaced every 12 months.

As a bodygroomer, it is suitable for the body, but not for facial hair or head hair. For those areas, specialized devices or a multi-function machine like Philips' multigroomers are needed.

Although shaving is not deep and requires some repetitions to achieve the desired (subjective) result, it is very difficult to cause irritation. As it is definitely not a razor, it brings both positive and negative aspects. But if someone wants a razor shave, they should get a razor! All in all, it is considered a successful purchase.

+ superior shaving experience compared to the BG3010/15 that I had for 3 years

P.S. It hasn't been tested on thick mustache/hair, but obviously, as I mentioned at the beginning regarding the close shave, here too, no electric shaver/trimmer can instantly cut through thick hair and it will struggle

I am satisfied so far with the shaving and the battery, but the shaving and trimming heads do not fit well, especially the shaving head easily comes off in difficult areas. If there was a machine with the price and variety of Phillips, and the quality and construction of Panasonic, it would be perfect, but it does not exist.

It does what it says, very durable battery, charges in one hour and lasts forever. Very good, worth its money.
