The Kapstadt Gtx shoes from Meindl are suitable for long hours of hiking. They are made of leather for extra durability and feature a Vibram outsole for optimal grip. Additionally, they come with a 3rd generation Gore-Tex membrane that allows air and water vapor to pass out while preventing water from penetrating inside, as well as a Variofix 1 fabric band that wraps around and protects the heel from potential injuries.
