I have oily skin with mild acne... I was recommended this as an alternative to the classic equivalent cream (duo). The duo was a good moisturizer without any therapeutic substance, of course... I tried this specific one for several days and every time it irritated and reddened my skin and caused small pimples. The sensation was not good at all, I can't wear it anymore.
Update: I have been using this cream for over a year now and it has been so convenient for me. The main features that I enjoy are the overall feeling of comfort, good hydration and absorption, the cleanliness of the skin, and the fact that it addresses any imperfections or pimples from the first moment.
My skin has accepted it perfectly and I love it because it delivers on its promises (at least for me). I am a 29-year-old man with oily-combination skin prone to acne. During my teenage years, I had severe acne for some years.
This cream has a very lightweight feel and excellent absorption. I have been using it for two months now, morning and night, after cleansing with the classic Effaclar gel (at the same time, I also use the La Roche-Posay scrub and the Effaclar mask twice a week). It didn't cause a single pimple, even though I expected it as it was a new product for my skin. Also, when a pimple is about to appear, it disappears within two days at most. The cream has regulated the oiliness very well, has unclogged and cleansed the pores to a great extent, and has smoothed out my skin overall. It moisturizes very well and, as I calculate, it will easily last me three months.
With the results it has shown on me, I highly recommend it without hesitation!
At first, when I bought it, I was very satisfied... after using it for about a month, my face started to get irritated in certain areas when I applied it...
The best!!! I have tried several creams that are more expensive than this one. It is the only one that leaves my skin soft without shining. The blemishes have significantly reduced. Together with the serum from the same company, it works wonders.
Personally, I have combination skin, oily in some areas and dry in others. It absorbs very quickly and is lightweight with a matte finish as it claims. I haven't been using it for a long time, so I don't know if it works for pores and black spots, but when I use it, my skin feels hydrated. However, in the areas where my skin is normal to dry, I need to use a larger amount to feel hydrated. I think for oily skin, a small amount is enough and it seems to improve the texture of the skin so that it is not rough, etc. Just know before you buy it that it is not a therapeutic cream for pimples, etc., it is simply a good moisturizer for oily and combination skin. In the morning, personally, I use this as a day cream and at night, I use Effaclar Duo as a moisturizer-treatment for acne marks that I have
Perhaps the best cream I have ever purchased. I have oily and somewhat rough skin with enlarged pores. From the very first week, I noticed my skin becoming smoother, pores shrinking, and oiliness reducing.
At first, I was using the effaclar duo + and I was very satisfied. Within three months, all the red marks, acne scars, and not a single pimple remained. I highly recommend it. However, one day I went to the pharmacy and they didn't have it, so they gave me this K+ saying that it is equally good, maybe even better. No comparison. I can say that I got more pimples. It stings and irritates my wounds and pimples and it itches in the T-zone area. I will never buy it again. A thousand times the duo.
I have acne and combination skin (sometimes oily in certain areas, sometimes completely dry). I really like the cream, it is moisturizing and absorbs within ten minutes, and it is lightweight on the skin. There hasn't been a day where my skin has "rejected" it. Maybe it's not suitable for purely oily skin types
I don't understand why this product is losing points. I fully respect the opinions of other users. For me, however, I have to say that it worked wonderfully!! You should have oily or at least combination skin to use it and see results. I must say that it did what it promises, at least for me who had rough skin before applying it, and my skin actually improved and became even better than it was before showing roughness.
I will not buy it again. After a few hours, it becomes very shiny, MUCH worse than before. It is not only for oily skin! I will go back to Vichy Normaderm Nuit Detox, which was perfect!
I have cystic acne and I read reviews from people who had a similar issue, so I decided to try it. I don't know if it's because it's summer, but it did absolutely nothing for my normal-combination skin and I've been using it for almost a month. It also leaves a greasy feeling, while I expected it to be light and matte according to its characteristics. I will continue to use it as a moisturizer when I don't apply the cream for cystic acne, but I don't plan on buying it again when it runs out.
Perhaps the worst cream I have ever used for oily skin. It is very greasy on its own. When you apply it, it leaves a sticky feeling for the first few seconds. It does not absorb easily. Within two hours, at most, my face starts to shine. Overall, a very bad cream. I would not recommend it for oily skin...
