After 1-2 months of use, I can no longer trust my device on this mount, as it detaches and falls with the slightest movement.   The base is made of plastic and lightweight, it doesn't have any particular weight.
  At the bottom, it has adhesive and sticks firmly to a certain point on the car dashboard.
  It doesn't work well on curved dashboards because the suction cup won't hold properly, resulting in the base falling off.
  It holds the phone with the weight of the phone itself, but I would prefer if the hooks that hold the phone also had some protective cushioning to provide a more stable grip, although I didn't see the phone moving like that.
  If you don't use it frequently, it would be good to remove it from the dashboard so that the adhesive on the suction cup doesn't get damaged.
  I wouldn't recommend placing it on the car windshield because of the adhesive and the design of the base, as it may leave marks and break

The glue on the suction cup keeps the base stable, and because I often put my phone there for navigation, I had left it permanently on the windshield somewhere where it didn't bother me. However, after 2 years without any problems, the end came, as the prolonged exposure to the windshield and the solar radiation it received caused the glue on the suction cup to polymerize, resulting in it detaching from the suction cup, which without the glue is completely useless, so the base was thrown away.
