Stainless steel container ideal for long-term and safe storage of olive oil and wine. It features a screw cap for secure closure, which is equipped with a food-grade gasket that allows for easy and safe transport. It also has handles. It is made of 18/10 stainless steel.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
It's worth the money, quality construction. What others say about the faucet I haven't encountered, but generally, there are no leaks to tighten it all the way.
You don't need to screw the faucet until the last turn that remains upwards.
You put the hose, Teflon, and screw it until the second to last turn.
It is waterproof.
I tested it first with water for two days.
For its price, it is good. There is, of course, the problem with the turns for the faucet as others have mentioned. (When you tighten it at the point where it should seal, the faucet looks upwards, a definite construction mistake.) In the box, there is the faucet, O-rings, washers, and a stainless steel plug with an O-ring for those who do not want the faucet. (The store had included Teflon tape and gloves as a gift! ++ for the store!)
I give it a 3 only for the faucet that can never return to its position no matter how I put it, otherwise the container is correct
Everything is exactly as one would expect. As a container, it does its job, and it comes with a faucet, which also has its rubber seals and everything. The only issue is that the way it screws on is not as one would expect. After making full turns, it doesn't end up at a vertical point. Of course, since it's not a good idea to have the faucet vertically because it may leak, after someone uses it, they turn it to face upwards.
The 100 after 5 years suddenly started leaking oil (weeping) from its base (pressed seam not glued). It was supported by a metal base made of angle iron. I had to empty it - check with water but it didn't do it again. Caution.
After 2+ years, I can say that it is good, but the threading on the faucet is not correct, resulting in me having to turn it upwards to prevent oil leakage
I just got it, I put water in it and turned it upside down. Despite having a rubber band, it leaks... so air will also enter. The product seems average
The price, combined with the base (which was purchased separately), is a bit steep. As a product, it seems okay, but only time will tell.
The problem with the faucet screwing needs to be fixed. It is clear that the washers need half a turn more. If it was done correctly, it could tighten just with its rubber, but as it is now, it needs Teflon tape. It is a technical mistake of the manufacturer. It is possible that the importer was aware of this and it made a difference in the price. It must be mentioned in the product instructions, as it involves food. The materials (faucet, flanges, cap, plug, etc.) may be certified for food, but as it seems, they are not enough and the buyer needs to take responsibility for which extra materials to use in order to properly screw the faucet and prevent it from dripping.
Very good product. Lid with rubber for sealing, two handles for transportation and available faucet or cap. Regarding the faucet, you put enough Teflon tape and tighten it to the desired position (it will not fully stop but with the Teflon tape there will be no leakage).
Good quality, it needed a good wash and it has some imperfections on the inside, but overall it's fine. As other owners have commented, the faucet has an issue and you have to have it upside down until you use it. Other than that, it's great.
Thin metal and when you clean it, it dents. I would prefer it to be a little harder. Also, the faucet does not screw straight down
Excellent, I made wine for the first time in this barrel and it turned out very good, so I love it.
The spigot tightens at the wrong spot, but it doesn't matter because if you turn it to the vertical position where it's not completely tightened, it doesn't leak.
The best for storing oil/wine. Personally, I have been using it for almost a year and I have bought two and I am completely satisfied.
Its use is for storing oil. As for the quality, it is very good, but the turns from the tap were made in such a way that when you screwed it, it ended up facing upwards. From where I bought it, they told me to put Teflon and tighten it as a solution, but when I tried to put it back in place, the rubber gasket dissolved. I don't know if the tap was faulty and the problem was in the factory or if it was just poorly made. Either way, for now, it doesn't leak.
Very nice tank. Includes a cap and a funnel. Bought it a week ago, tested it first with water and then added the oil it was intended for.
It looks very okay - I emptied the tin oil (17ltr) and the faucet doesn't seem to be leaking
Ideal dimensions for easy storage in a household space and sufficient oil capacity (3 containers). High-quality container spout, which prevents oil leakage.
I bought it for wine fermentation, my experienced oenologist recommended a stainless steel barrel for the best result, neither wooden nor plastic. Excellent quality and well-made construction. If I understood correctly, some sell it together with the spigot, others without. What I got didn't have it, so I bought it from a hydraulic supplies store for 5€, it also needs a rubber seal or Teflon tape for sealing. It doesn't need a stand, it stands comfortably on a table/shelf. Because gases are produced during wine fermentation and ventilation is needed, I did some tests and saw that the lid is not completely airtight, but it relieves the pressure, so for fermentation, nothing more is needed, just put the must inside and close the lid tightly. It is an excellent investment for amateur winemaking or for storing oil, its cost is reasonable and I recommend it.
Includes a hose, as stated, but also has a valve on the lid which was a pleasant surprise. So far, I am very satisfied. I hope it withstands the test of time!
Perfect product.
The container included the lid, in case someone doesn't want to use a straw but also the spout. And its construction is sturdy and reliable. I highly recommend it.
