By adding a minimal amount of olive oil, it does not stick at all and although I was hesitant because it does not have removable plates, it is ultimately 100% non-stick (at least so far), so it does not require special cleaning. Definitely value for money and for me, it is a top purchase since my extremely picky eater son now asks for waffles almost every day!!

BUY IT! It is essentially a sandwich maker with waffle plates. I chose this product because it has 4 slots to make 4 waffles in one go, so I don't have to constantly cook. I feel justified because with one cooking session, two adults ate 2 waffles with ice cream and they were very good for homemade ones.
DON'T EXPECT to eat the abundant waffles you would eat at a good ice cream shop/cafe. They come out smaller for sure, but not mini. Otherwise, they have nothing to envy for homemade waffles for family and friends, buy without fear!
INSTRUCTIONS: BEFORE THE FIRST USE, AFTER CLEANING IT WITH A LITTLE WATER/SOAP, LET IT BURN AT FULL POWER TO GET RID OF THE PLASTIC SMELL!
Mix that worked for me. I bought the yogurt packaging for pancakes/waffles. It has instructions on how to easily make the mix (you need 2 eggs, a little milk, and a little butter only). From there, I put the waffle maker on high to let it burn and then lowered it a bit. The first time, take a cube of butter and grease the plates as it heats up so that the mixture doesn't stick. Pour the mixture to cover the mold, be careful not to overflow, start slowly and add more. Close the lid and wait about 10 minutes before opening it. DO NOT OPEN the lid immediately after pouring the mixture!!!! After the 10 minutes, it's up to your preference. I usually set it somewhere in the middle between light and dark. This is a matter of taste and after the first time, you will see what you like. Although the mix says it makes 9 waffles, it's not true, it definitely makes at least 12 with this specific waffle maker and I probably have enough for 2 more, so 14 in total!! You can store the mixture in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Take it out, let it come to room temperature, and what I noticed is that the mixture sets in the refrigerator and maybe it comes out more fluffy/bigger waffles since it sits better and is not completely liquid. Maybe it's just my idea! All of this applies to the Yogurt mix (pancakes/waffles)!!! Serve with ice cream balls, cookies, Maltesers chocolates, and syrup of your choice and enjoy!EDIT: As for cleaning, I have done 3 different doses and none left any trace of dough or dried dough. Only the little butter I had greased is visible. I wouldn't call it troublesome even though the plates do not come out

We greased it a little before and didn't open it before five minutes.. The only mistake I made was that I put too much batter, resulting in it overflowing as soon as I closed it... It got messy around it, but we cleaned it and everything was fine.. I highly recommend it for its price and size!

This recipe is very tasty but in order to succeed, in the half portion that I make, I add 2 eggs (instead of 1) and 1 packet of baking powder 20g.
