  Owner of 1 week, I also have the xboom pl 2.
  It has been tested a lot and has given me very good results. Crystal clear sound, very good battery life, high-quality construction, 2 audio channels. It can handle phone calls very well. It is not controlled by the LG application.
  Charging with type c but the negative of the speaker is that it takes a long time to charge. Meridian definitely had a hand in it, but we always have to consider the amount we pay.
  Waterproof according to the ipx7 standard, and supports aptx audio standard to transmit lossless sound from the source (it is not ldac or aptx hd but for its price it is ok). It plays in its own league in its category!! Let's not compare it to jbl charge or other more expensive speakers.
  A worthy purchase and I wouldn't change it for the equivalent of jbl / Sony! And I would buy it again!!

  Very good construction, powerful and high-quality sound, dual-channel compared to most single-channel ones. It does its job perfectly, a remarkable gadget from LG. It does not support the application for Xboom, but I do not consider it a disadvantage. I use it with my MP3 player and mobile phone and I am satisfied. I highly recommend it.

  First time I have gotten such a gadget.
  My impressions about this speaker are the best!
  1. Small in size with a very sturdy structure, you understand that it's worth it.
  2. The sound is incredible, although at first I was a little scared about the performance because it didn't have a battery.
  3. The first test lasted at least 6 hours... and the battery lasted, the instructions say it lasts 12 hours.
  4. The connection is unbelievable, I have moved more than 10 meters away from the device and it doesn't lose its connection.
  5. USB Type C cable / AUX
  6. I haven't tested it in water yet!! I don't plan on taking it for a swim... but maybe it will get wet during some outdoor work at some point....

  It's worth the money!!! In a well-known electronics store, I found it for 88 euros... I got it from here for 46 euros.

  A decent speaker for its size. Expecting good sound quality from such a small speaker is inherently absurd, but in proportion to its size, it's okay (now the meridian technology, etc. mentioned are marketing gimmicks. A simple portable DAC from Meridian costs 250.00 euros).
  The Bluetooth connection is very stable with good range. It is also quite sturdy.

  Unfortunately, mine stopped charging after about 8 months of use, but it still worked when connected to the power outlet. Now you can connect the device via Bluetooth, the buttons on the speaker respond, but there is no sound. I only give it 3 stars because I believe I fell into this case.

  I went to LG's headquarters to find out which of their partners handles the service covered by the warranty. After 20 minutes of waiting, they took it, but the employee eventually gave me the phone number of the authorized service for white goods. Terrible customer service.

  I got it due to the collaboration between LG and Meridian. Clear sound, especially if the quality of the played file is good, for example, the difference between a .wav file, which is the CD, and mp3-320 is significant. The enhanced bass function is somewhat misleading. The normal mode should stay activated, otherwise the speaker produces a slightly muffled sound. I have no complaints about the volume, after all, I didn't get it to throw a party. The Bluetooth connection is immediate. I noticed that if the mp3 player on the computer stays on pause for some (considerable) time, then the speaker plays with interruptions and requires turning off and on. It's not something serious. Sturdy to heavy construction. Fits comfortably in the hand. Lasts for about 10 hours. Takes a while to charge but can play simultaneously. The (short and therefore impractical) USB Type-C cable was included.
