I have been using it for years. At first, I used another similar, stronger shampoo, but they discontinued it, and I ended up with this one. I have oily hair, atopic dermatitis, seborrhea, etc., for 21 years with special prescribed ointments for my face. If I go more than two days without washing my hair, it gets red and itchy. Always wash your face with this shampoo. Lastly, I want to emphasize something... find a second similar shampoo that will help you. That is, one month wash with one shampoo and one month with the other, and the reason is that after a month, the shampoo will not have the same effect on the skin because it will have gotten used to it. I have accidentally found a second shampoo that does the same job (something I didn't expect because I have tried almost all of them) from a well-known brand, and I wash with one one time and with the other the next. The atopic dermatitis that affects the scalp to some extent is not completely cured. I have always had and still have oily hair and dandruff. As long as I apply ointment on my face for the atopic dermatitis, I do not have redness. As soon as I stop, it reappears. So do not look for shampoos and ointments that will completely cure you once and for all from this specific problem.
I have dandruff and I couldn't wash my hair with any other shampoo. This one helped me a lot and my boyfriend who has psoriasis. I have been using it for over a year.
Unfortunately, they removed the active ingredient Zinc Pyrithione that made this shampoo effective. Europe has banned this specific substance and it was the last shampoo that contained it before it was completely withdrawn.
This specific substance also helped a lot with acne and in general it was effective against dandruff, eczema, etc. as various users have mentioned on Reddit and generally on the internet.
I do not know to what extent it helps with dandruff now that it does not contain Zinc Pyrithione
I tried it when my wife's sister gave it to me, who works at a pharmacy.
I was amazed from the first wash with the results on my hair.
I don't have any particular problem with my hair, like normal people do. First of all, after rinsing, you feel your hair stronger and shinier, they literally shine. You can tell the difference when combing, at least in my hair because it is oily, they feel fuller and denser.
I feel like something has changed in my head. Now, about the scent, it's not (as many cosmetics claim) the first smell, but on a scale of 0-10, I give it a 7.
This is my opinion. It has become my personal shampoo and it seems like I won't change it for anything.
That's why I went on skroutz to check the price and order it. It would be good, of course, if it came in a larger package with more content.
I recommend it without hesitation because it does what it promises...
From the first application I saw results, I have atopic dermatitis (known as eczema) on my scalp, the first thing is the itching that it minimizes to the minimum. It left my hair soft and shiny. Now, as for the scent, they say it's okay, it doesn't smell like the first day of spring, but not to the point where it's unbearable. In the end, it is a medicinal product, not a cosmetic one.
I have seborrheic dandruff and I can say that for its price, it is really good. Of course, the results are not long-term, in terms of sebum absorption from the scalp and oh my god, it smells terribly awful, like sulfur. I would like it in a larger quantity for possibly more permanent results
After wasting a lot of money on useless products, I found this shampoo that, in combination with fungoral and laroche posay, relieved me from severe dandruff and annoying itching. Another thing that pleased me is the gentle feeling on my hair, as most anti-dandruff shampoos weigh them down. I highly recommend it!
I have seborrheic dermatitis and reading reviews about the product, I expected it to help, as the selsun blue that I was using is out of stock and I was looking for an alternative. I can't say that it worked particularly well, I don't have as much itching after use, but it needs to be used consistently day after day and I have long hair, so in ten days I have almost finished the bottle. Also, it didn't help much with the flakes, it may be because my scalp and ears are currently in a flare-up and it may actually help with milder cases. I will try it again for maintenance purposes only
I had a serious issue with dandruff and scalp itchiness due to excessive oiliness. Any commercial anti-dandruff shampoo did not provide me with any relief. I usually had to wash my hair daily to prevent my scalp from "eating" me. With this shampoo, from the first application, dandruff does not appear at all, and there is no scalp itchiness. It leaves me with a feeling of cleanliness. It is perhaps the most cost-effective medicated shampoo that fulfills all its promises. I would buy it again and again
Very reliable solution for seborrheic dermatitis. Dryness ends from the first application, itching ends as well. I have tried almost everything. This specific product relieves me better than any other. It is also quite economical, as it requires a small amount to create enough foam to cover the entire scalp. I alternate it with Ducray Kelual and regular shampoo, using it exclusively during outbreaks.
Effective in controlling oiliness and dandruff. It was recommended to me by a dermatologist to use alternately with ketoconazole shampoos (e.g. Fungoral). Okay, it doesn't leave the hair silky but neither dry. And it solves much more serious issues.
