  An electric grill was chosen instead of charcoal because the house is rented and I didn't want to have a problem with smoke (stained walls, neighbors upstairs, etc.) and also because of the hassle and volume of gas cylinders. After some research, I ended up with this one for 100 euros and I am very satisfied with the results.

  It's not the most high-quality product out there, the plastic and metal parts could be of better quality, but overall it's okay.

  Very important for me is that the grilling is done on a plate and the liquids and fats don't fall onto the heating elements, which would make cleaning them very difficult and the food unhealthy due to the carbon that is created there. The heating elements are embedded in the plate and are not exposed when grilling or washing. A very good detail is the hole it has for the fats to drain, as well as the container to collect them and dispose of them without making a mess at the end of grilling. Also convenient is the long cable, and the fact that it can be detached from the base and placed on the kitchen counter, for example (to make use of the extractor fan) and grill inside the house during the winter when it's cold on the balcony.

  As for the grilling itself, I can say that it exceeded my expectations. I tried burgers, steak, vegetables, and octopus, and everything came out very well cooked. And the taste is great too. Don't expect the same charcoal flavor that food has when grilled on charcoal, of course. However, compared to Tefal-type grills, it is much better. It is also quite fast in grilling, depending on the heat setting one uses and if it reaches a high temperature (at level 5, it reaches 250 degrees Celsius with the lid closed). Personally, I preheat it for 5-10 minutes on level 5 with the lid closed to heat up the plate well, then I put the food on and immediately lower it to level 3-4, adjusting as needed.

  5/5 so far, I have had it for 1 month now and everything is good. I will try more dishes, as well as using it with the lid closed, like an oven. If anything changes in the future, I will update.
