Suitable for 1-8 players, aged 14+ with an average game duration of 90 minutes.
"Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective" is a cooperative game in Greek, where players try to solve mysterious cases. Equipped with a copy of the Times, a map of London, an index, and - most importantly - your logic, you will roam the streets of London trying to gather clues.
Will you visit the crime scene? Will you meet Inspector Lestrade? Unravel the thread of intrigues, answer a series of questions, and compare your performance with that of the world's greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes.

I won't say much.
It's very difficult to beat Sherlock.
It's difficult to solve the case.
You might find some parts of the case.
Overall, it's definitely atmospheric and very nice!
Very interesting as an idea, but in practice it did not excite me particularly. The good things it has are its construction quality, which is simply excellent for its price. The map and newspapers included definitely put you in the mood of a detective mystery. The stories it contains are also captivating. However, the good things end here, as the answers to the mysteries are not the result of deduction that the player will make from the collected elements, but usually found in just one element, often in a detail of the text that only Sherlock Holmes himself would find. This is not accidental, as the game for some reason rewards the player with more points if they follow fewer clues, which doesn't make much sense in a game that you can't play again. It's as if the game itself wants you to engage with it as little as possible. Anyone who wants to play it can simply buy a mystery book and try to solve it while reading, the experience will be identical, entertaining but without the need to be in board game format.
This is an excellent game that makes you feel like a real detective! You visit locations, interrogate, search through newspapers, and in the end, you have to use your mind to combine all the elements... Wonderful experience!
Now, onto the specifics:
1. It is a very high-quality construction. A display tabletop game.
2. The games last at least 90 minutes (depending on the case, it can be much longer).
3. Ideal for 2 to a maximum of 4 players.
4. The cases are solved once and the game is not replayable unless you pick it up again after a long time and have a weak memory.
5. You can compete with Sherlock to solve the cases faster, but my opinion is not to rush through the cases and enjoy the game to the fullest.
6. You will need a ruler, we also got a magnifying glass just for fun :-)
7. There is a second game with 10 different cases to solve if you finish this one
Very good, you will be thrilled if you like reading and detective cases. It requires concentration, has 10 cases, and usually takes time to finish each one. It will be very helpful to keep good notes, and maybe to share roles with your friends, for example, someone creating profiles of suspects or victims, another observing locations on the map, another reading newspapers. Overall, it will help if you play the game until the end with the same group, as elements from one case may help in the next. 10/10 from me since I am also a fan of Sherlock.
It is very good, although it takes a long time to find the solution to the crime, so it can quickly become boring. I would recommend getting a Monopoly instead of something so expensive that you will find yourself in a short time
Good interest and difficult to achieve a high score, but it doesn't matter, it teaches you how to think. If the only goal was a high score, it wouldn't have so many entries and ways to reach the solution. I suggest you get a notebook and start getting involved and leave the score behind
Very nice game!!
It takes several hours, at least 3, and it is difficult to find the solution....
Even if you find half of what is asked for, it is worth the effort to dedicate time to this game...
We may not be Sherlock, but we manage to do something too....
Definitely a fun game for people who enjoy reading and thinking. I would recommend it for small groups of 2-4 people at most, so you don't lose track of the story with too many scenarios. I don't think it's easy to replay because you remember the solutions after reading so much... at least I think so.
As for the negatives, something is off with the translation into Greek and there are some unclear or incorrectly worded information. Also, regarding the solutions and Holmes' rating, he only answers the first few questions in the solution, so why should we deduct points if he didn't solve it?
Nice game, but it's not the classic board game. It's like being the protagonist in a detective episode. The only drawback I found is that in all 3 stories I played, there were small gaps in the elements (to the point where I think the prints were wrong).
Awesome game, whether you play it alone or with other people. The scenarios are very interesting and clever. Depending on whether you play alone or with others, as well as the difficulty of the scenario, it will definitely take you more than 2 hours at least. What bothers me a little is that you compete against Sherlock and in order to win, you have to have the same or fewer points than him, which is especially difficult in the first scenarios when you are still learning, as he solves scenarios with only 5 clues. However, someone may not take into account Sherlock's score in the first 2 scenarios and compete with him in the later scenarios. The truth is, when you beat Sherlock, the game becomes even more fun.
Very good, quality materials, comfortable to wear for 3-4 hours without realizing it. Worth it! However, it requires a lot of reading. I would maybe like in future versions instead of reading the story, for example, to enter somewhere with the tablet and have it play in video format!
Very high-quality pieces, something completely different from the classic board games and a very nice atmosphere throughout the game. The only negative is the long completion time of a case, something that for me is not necessarily negative because it puts you in the process of thinking well and not drawing hasty conclusions. I highly recommend it for mystery enthusiasts!
The game is worth its money. Very well-made and all its pieces are very beautiful. It mentally transports you to the stories it has. It requires quite a bit of patience the first time, 4 people who played it for the first time couldn't solve it at all.
The most beautiful game I have played. Especially if you are the type of person who likes puzzles, it is super!!!! It is worth its money. Regarding the fact that there are only ten puzzles and then it ends, I disagree. If a certain amount of time passes, you forget the solution, so you play it again.
Very interesting initially, with very high-quality pieces (London map, case books, London index, etc).
On the negative side, despite having watched every police series, the first case I dealt with was very difficult to solve. Something that made me leave it for a while
A game of thinking and observation that highlights the collaboration and communication of the group, enjoyable and easy.
Very nice detective game. Especially fans of Sherlock Holmes will enjoy it. Although the game can only be played once, with proper attention it can be given to someone else in the future.
Now that it has the price, it is very worth having it. It requires a lot of thought, so if you are anything like a Monopoly player, a complainer, a grumbler, forget it!
On the other hand, if you enjoy solving cases and puzzles, it is for you! It contains 10 well-structured cases, which if you are careful and not superficial, you will solve them all. Of course, each case takes about three hours, so make sure you have time, because we started the first two cases and then left it for a while due to lack of time.
Some cases may confuse you, but if you don't rush and think logically (without superficiality as mentioned above), you will find them! Even if you "lose" to Sherlock who finds the solution in fewer moves (investigating evidence), the satisfaction is great!
A unique game. It is not a traditional board game in the strict sense of the term, as it does not have pieces, a board, and dice. I could describe it as a storytelling - investigation - mystery game.
It requires company to be played well (at least 3 people), a significant amount of available time, and corresponding disposition.
You read a story and through the interrogation of various suspects, you learn new information. In this way, you try to solve a case (it has 10 cases).
Expect it to take around 3 hours (give or take), and each case must be solved once and for all, as practically, it is a bit difficult to gather the same people again the next day for the continuation.
Consider it one of the good ones in its genre, but it has specific requirements.
