It has many components, but I don't use them. I only use the main component. The first time I used it, I thought it was a waste of money because I didn't feel anything, as I was used to feeling pain when cutting nose hairs. Surprised, I saw that the hairs were gone but I didn't feel anything. So it works. The only thing I don't like is that the head starts to heat up after 20-30 seconds, but if you put it under the faucet every now and then, clean it, and let it cool down. It seems to be a sturdy construction. Time will tell...
The head heats up a lot and the switch to turn it on is the same spot that opens to change the batteries, so if you turn it one position further, the batteries fall out from inside. The one from Lidl was much more quality and cheaper.
It doesn't work due to the shape of its head..(especially the nose) I'm looking to find another trimmer with a different head, until then I'm forced to do the job with tweezers
Good product. The product comes with a battery so it is ready for use. The only downside is that the battery input is also the power switch. Therefore, the user needs to pay a little extra attention to the rotation so as not to disconnect the battery.

Very good, I have had it for 4-5 years, it cleans the nose perfectly. The only negative is that it consumes the alkaline battery very quickly, but other than that, I recommend it.
I don't like it. For the nose, if it finds the root of the hair, it cuts it. It's difficult, but it cuts it. The trimmer is very well constructed with excellent quality materials and waterproof. I also have the Remington NE3850 which is also perfect.
It is handy in removing all the hairs from the beard, between the eyebrows above the nose, ears, nose, and of course under the nose where shaving machines don't really get them. It is also excellent for eyebrows and favorites.
As for the battery, you can use whatever you prefer. Whether it is rechargeable and you charge it with a charger or regular ones.
P.S. If you also have the NE3850 like me, use only the attachments of the NE3870, especially the one for inside the nose since it doesn't have it and you have it as a backup.
Good to mediocre. The trimmer is a hassle to cut hair from the nose and ears. The attempt to trim with the corresponding head is simply impossible. The head comes off on its own, it does not secure well to the machine. Maybe just cleaning the blade without the comb in front. Weak motor. Money wasted.
It is very good. It completely removes hair from the nose and ears without pulling them. The head is waterproof and you can wet it to clean it. Discreet and sturdy construction. I haven't tried the other attachments since I've had the machine for a year. Anyway, I believe there is no better machine than this one.
Quite powerful. It is lightweight. Good grip and the plus is that you can use it with a simple battery. It includes a rechargeable NI-mH battery in the package. It also comes with small combs. The device is waterproof. Time will tell if I made a good purchase.
I bought it for trimming my mustache, which I have had for over 15 years with a lot of experience in trimmers. This specific product is complemented with a larger trimmer. In addition to the complete hair cleaning of the mustache (with the corresponding attachment), the additional attachments as a trimmer make it very effective for precise and detailed work (especially for those who maintain a mustache or frequently need to take care of the length of their eyebrows), due to the very narrow width of the scissor blade (1.6 cm), which can also accept a scalable cutting length attachment.
The positive aspect for me (negative for some others) is that it is not rechargeable (it takes one AA battery), so in cases of travel where access to electricity is difficult or there is not enough time for charging (unlike rechargeable models), simply by changing a regular battery that can be purchased anywhere or carried with us, it is something extremely practical.
I repeat that the small width of the blade makes it extremely useful for small and detailed corrections, something that the main, larger trimmer cannot achieve.
Finally, it is very easy to clean as it is waterproof!
I highly recommend it, always as a complementary trimmer, along with a main, larger trimmer.
P.S.: Remington is a very good company with extensive experience in hairdressing equipment, offering a wide range of similar professional and household products.
P.S.2: For those who complain about the non-rechargeable battery, they can easily purchase a small, dual charger and two rechargeable AA batteries, so they don't have to buy batteries frequently (the economic benefit, although small, is certain). This is something I have done myself.
P.S.3: CAUTION! The blade needs to be lubricated with a drop of oil (specifically for these occasions) at regular intervals to ensure proper operation and avoid friction between the two blades, as is the case with any hair clipper or trimmer.

It has been four years since the date of purchase.
The trimmer continues to work perfectly without any issues.
(For those with very coarse beards, this particular trimmer may not be suitable as it may not be able to handle the job. In this case, they will either need to purchase a different trimmer suitable for their situation - which may still present problems - or it is recommended to use a softening cream suitable for hard or very coarse beards/hair before trimming).
CAUTION!: Whatever hair clipper or trimmer you purchase, always, always lubricate the blades with a small drop of oil before use for these specific machines.
