Personally, I did not use it for mice. I put it on the lid of an ice cream container and around the bait to catch cockroaches. I placed it under the washing machine. I changed it after 1 year, the adhesive was still sticky and had trapped 2 dead ones. Be careful not to touch it, it sticks a lot.
