  I bought it to expand the USB hub I use for my Mac. Initially, I thought it was working perfectly. However, gradually I started noticing strange behaviors of my connected devices on the hub and eventually, through trial and error, I realized that this extension is to blame. For example, the lightning to USB cable no longer works through Goobay. My hard drives, which are connected to the hub, disconnect more frequently. If I don't have a power cable connected to the hub, my devices as well as the connected monitor on the hub are generally less stable in their connection.
