Did you find this review helpful?Relative frequent use (4-5 times per week), only for toasting and sandwiches. Good grilling (but I don't have a comparison measure from others). I have had it for many years (if I'm not mistaken, since 2015 and we are in 2024). However, I have repaired it many times. In 2-3 years, it would be in the trash for some who may not care. I have changed the resistors at least 2-3 times, now the thermostat broke and also burned the thermal safety. Let's not fool ourselves, it's not Bosch. Opening it, it doesn't look like "German construction" at all (maybe Chinese). I consider it good for the price I bought it (55 euros).

Did you find this review helpful?I just bought the aforementioned product and I read on the packaging that it is made in Greece, which surprised me as it is the first time I come across an electronic device made there. The toaster is huge, which is good because it can cook large quantities, but on the other hand, it takes up a lot of space, so your countertop or cabinet must have enough room. One positive aspect is the ability for vertical storage. Also, the plastic parts where you change the cooking position seem to require a lot of "care" and attention, otherwise they might break. The switch has some play and the plates appear to be quite thin. Lastly, it does not have a tray for collecting liquids during cooking. This is a major oversight!!!!!!! You should place something in the corners as there is a recess for the fats to drip. If you don't do this, they will drip onto the countertop. Considering the price of 69 euros, I believe it could have looked more high-quality and functional, but nevertheless, its durability and the results it produces will be evident over time. 3 stars for now, and we'll see.

One summer when my oven broke, I waited for the new one and cooked everything daily in it. For toast, I set it to 3 and when the light goes off, I put the toast in and set it to 5, waiting for it to go off. Once the light goes off, the toast is ready. I have cooked everything from steaks and chicken nuggets to frozen burgers straight from the freezer and everything comes out perfectly. After 15 years of use, last year I bought two brand new plates for 30 euros, as the previous ones were significantly worn out.

The side plastics broke within 6 months, one after the other... Now I only make toast because I'm afraid to fully open it and cook. Also, when you cook, the fat drips down. It doesn't have a special collection container. On the positive side, it is easy to clean, cooks evenly, and the plates remain non-stick.

I have cooked: toast, burgers, tortillas, fish sticks, halloumi, manouri, chicken fillet (not breaded), and various fruits.
Tip: Clean the grill immediately with soft detergent and a towel to avoid damaging the plates – or the yellow side of a sponge. Don’t put it in the dishwasher.

Did you find this review helpful?A purchase was made in 3/2019, everything was fine until 7/2021 when it malfunctioned in the thermostat (continuous operation, we realized it before it burned and raised the repair cost by blowing the fuses), that is, 4 months after the warranty expired. Surely, with the 50 euros it costs, it is not worth repairing by a technician. The cost of the spare part was 13 euros. Also, after 2 years of daily use, the cables and the internal condition were in very good condition. I would buy it again since it has spare parts and does its job correctly.
Edit 9/2023 The thermostat broke again.... With this toaster, you will become a technician, from 3 stars, 1 and that's too much.

This particular model is "Made In Greece", I hadn't seen it on an electrical appliance for a long time :)Update 13/2/2024: 3 months ago the thermostat broke, but it was still functioning at maximum temperature. However, today it completely broke. RIP.

Did you find this review helpful?It is very good for its price and it really grills everything well, BUT its plates started losing their non-stick properties gradually after a year (using it twice a week and cleaning it only with paper and occasionally gentle sponge washing). In two years, the plates are not non-stick anymore and I don't want to scrub it with wire and remove the coating and color afterwards... If there were replacement plates for 30 euros, it would be a much better purchase. Also, it is understandable that it takes up space since it has a large grilling surface, but it could be less bulky.

It doesn't heat up very quickly, but it toasts the sandwiches perfectly: crispy on the outside with melted cheese inside (sometimes the cheese spills out due to the weight of the plate). It toasts evenly, but only with the thermostat on full. Any other lower setting doesn't do the job. No electrical or other issues whatsoever. Unfortunately, the downside is that the plates are not durable. After about 1.5 years, they stopped being non-stick, even without much use. Since then, I grease them, but the sandwiches still stick. It can't fit 6 sandwiches (max 4). It is not suitable for grilling meats (steaks, sausages, etc.). Only vegetables and thinly sliced fillets. If you want something to last for years, choose something more expensive, with higher quality plates and more watts.

I didn't take it for repair, but I preferred to get the same one (keeping the old one to use its spare parts if needed for the new one). Its use (both the old one when I had it and the new one now) is mainly for sandwiches (and it's daily, with 4-6 sandwiches per day), but I also use it for grilling meat (sausages, bacon, kebabs, and occasionally steaks and pork belly). The plates can hold 6 sandwiches (I can't understand why they have it for 2!!). It's worth its money and more, judging from the previous one!!

It is quite good for sandwiches. I don't know about other foods. Its only negative aspect is that the screws that hold the top part and are on the sides of the toaster often loosen. It is quite annoying.
Update: 1 month before the warranty expired, it burned out. However, it is not justified as its use was only for sandwiches and very careful. Fortunately, they replaced it with a new one from the dealership under warranty.

It was still under warranty and they replaced it for me. I thought there must have been some problem. The second one lasted only two weeks, as soon as I tried to grill skewers again, I threw it away for the second time. It was still under warranty and they replaced it again. Everything was going well until today when I put two steaks in it and it finally stopped working again.
Also, the side screws often loosen.
5/6/2020 Since the last time it broke (over 5 years ago), I haven't used it for grilling meat again. It broke again, out of warranty this time, and I took it to a local repair shop. They changed the thermostat and resistors, "the joke was on me." Since then until today, it hasn't had any issues, even when grilling skewers
