  I had never played a Metro game before, it was my first one. The truth is that I had started it a few years ago, completely abandoned it along with gaming in general, but now that I finished it, I have to say that it is a particularly commendable game. The loading times are indeed ridiculously long, but the graphics are very good for the game's style, the characters have an interesting team dynamic, the gameplay is at a pretty good level with the weapons, upgrades, etc., the enemies and battles are great, some things could have been a little better with lag points or aiming responsiveness, the sound is good for the game's atmosphere, and the difficulty on normal levels is challenging, except for the final stretch which definitely becomes even more interesting. Overall, it does a lot of things very well with few negatives in my opinion, without having anything to compare it to from previous games.

  Big loading times that drive you crazy!
  Cinematic cutscenes that make you feel like they last forever.
  Good graphics, good sound... but quite a few screen freezes (ps4 pro).
  Several good moments in the campaign, even better in the game's DLCs!
  Better stick with the first two Metro games, they are definitely better without this being a complete waste, but
  after the first ones, you expected more.

  The game, despite the hype and advertisements that took place before its release, unfortunately, and I say it with real disappointment because I loved the first 2 Metro games, is definitely the weakest of the 3 in terms of the story. I played it right after playing Last Light. In terms of the story, it's nothing special, it's just an okay story that you want to see what happens next, but it has no connection to the previous ones. It's borderline indifferent. In terms of technical aspects (graphics, sound, animation), the only thing that bothered me was the animation and camera acceleration (which you can't turn off on console) and sometimes the character animation, which is often too light and reminiscent of arcade games. Also, in many instances, you will notice that the sound cuts off (for 1 to a few seconds) many times, which also bothered me at times. I have to admit that the graphics are one of its strong points. Not in the sense that they are unreal or ahead of their time, but they are quite decent. What disappointed me the most is the more open-world gameplay style. I admit that this style of gameplay (less claustrophobic and open world) does not fit at all in a game like Metro. It has nothing to do with the claustrophobic atmosphere of the first 2 games. After a while, the open world becomes tiresome, and I say this not because open world is inherently bad, but because it doesn't fit at all, and I emphasize NOT AT ALL, in the character of a Metro game. The game completely lost its original identity. I appreciate the effort and courage of the developers to bring about a change, but it really didn't work. In conclusion, the game is mediocre in all aspects, borderline indifferent story, and it became just another clone of RPG open world games that we constantly see. The Metro series had a character, a standard, it had a style of gameplay and atmosphere that you haven't seen in other games. With this addition to the series, it destroyed everything, lost its unique identity, and became a typical RPG. If you want to see how the story continues, then go ahead and play it, but I'm telling you that you will find it extremely indifferent, meaning it doesn't say much even until the end. Indifferent and I'm sorry. Lastly, one more thing that also tired me A LOT, and I emphasize, is the HUGE and without exaggeration, huge loading time. Honestly, when you open the game, you have to wait around 7 to 10 minutes, even if your system is a bit weaker (which mine isn't, and yet I still had to wait 7 to 8 minutes each time). The same goes for deaths, when you die, the loading time until you respawn is very long and it really tires you, and I'm not exaggerating with what I'm saying. I imagine that there will be some kind of improvement in this area on the PS5, but honestly, on the PS4 and I imagine on other consoles as well, the loading time is unbearable, it frustrates you.

  Note: To not completely discredit the game, one point that I truly enjoyed was the last chapter (Dead City) where it really feels like playing the good old Metro, down in the metros with a claustrophobic atmosphere, but with good graphics this time. I can't say that this 1.5-hour mission makes up for the entire 17-hour game, but it is truly a point that personally was the only thing I truly enjoyed in the whole game

  One of the best games I have played on the PS4. Captivating from the first minute with a great storyline that keeps you on edge for what comes next. One of the few titles that fully utilize the console's capabilities with amazing graphics and gameplay. I would have liked it to be a bit longer in terms of story, and the sound is slightly lacking compared to the rest, but these are very minor things to say that it is not an amazing game.

  As a fan of Metro Redux, I had high expectations for the conclusion of the trilogy. Despite the impressive graphics and beautiful locations, I can say that the game exhausted me. The semi open-world element doesn't suit it, and it has a poor flow, resulting in getting stuck for no reason in certain areas, even if you have completed everything, it doesn't help you continue, and even if you haven't left anything for exploration, you may have done something stupid in a specific way that the game wants. In some chapters, I encountered bugs that wouldn't let me climb stairs or loot, or progress, resulting in starting over from the beginning. Slow-paced, poor world, few monsters compared to the previous ones, but the worst is the problematic sound when shooting, the sound cuts off! It also has very slow loading on the PS4, which I imagine won't be the case on the PS5. It has some nice moments that remind me of the old ones in closed spaces, but it lacks the atmosphere they had. Towards the end, it gives gas from monsters, claustrophobic atmosphere, and suspense, and despite the difficulty, it has a stunning finale that compensates for the experience. The two DLCs I purchased are amazing and fix what was missing from the main game!! If you find the DLCs at a good price, definitely get them!

  Completing back to back Metro 2033 and Last Light and starting Exodus immediately, you realize the main difference between the first two and the last part of the series, and that is none other than the atmosphere and intensity that the first two offered. The choice of a relatively open world with linear alternations, I can't say it was in the right direction, but it will definitely divide the fans of the game. On one hand, you have a technically flawless game with exceptional graphics that look unreal on TVs with strong HDR, the sound has always been a positive aspect of the series and remains so, the controls have become slightly more complex as you have some additional options and movements. I consider the gameplay and the story to be the negative points, as the open world aspect, apart from its beauty, doesn't give you a serious motivation to explore it. To feel the intensity of the game a bit, you will have to find yourself either in a hole of the open world or in some intermediate linear levels. If we compare the difficulty level of 2033 and Last Light with Exodus, the first two really made you feel the intensity they offered. Wandering in the world of Metro Exodus reminded me a bit of Horizon Zero Dawn in terms of graphics and HDR, and a bit of The Last of Us in the post-apocalyptic environment and the half-destroyed buildings, mutated enemies, stealth gameplay, and weapon upgrade benches, as well as a bit of Tomb Raider Definitive Edition in terms of gameplay (enemy groups in fortresses, transportation with hooks and ropes, bows, caves, bears, etc.). The story is shallow with a likable ending. Artyom, after three games, still hasn't learned to speak, but his non-verbal communication has improved significantly and his movements are indeed very realistic. Its duration is definitely longer than the first two due to the open world, but for me, the content without substance doesn't excite me. I don't regret the purchase or the hours I dedicated to it, but Metro 2033 and Last Light had set the bar very high for their time...

  One of the best games I have played. I bought it for 70 euros when it came out and I have not regretted a minute, the graphics are UNBELIEVABLE, insane detail in all areas. The weapon crafting system is very deep. Flawless gameplay, especially on higher difficulties. The story takes you from 3 semi open worlds to a journey through post-apocalyptic Russia in a perfect survival story with beloved characters from the series. You don't need to know anything else to understand it, as you leave Moscow at the beginning. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good FPS, and I also recommend getting the DLCs because they are also flawless.

  From the very first minutes of gameplay, everything indicated that the game would be extremely enjoyable, and that's exactly what happened. We're talking about a masterpiece from Ukrainian "4A Games," the developers managed to create a beautiful video game that brilliantly portrays, from every aspect, the painful consequences that survivors face after a nuclear war in Russia. The scenery is not far from real life, considering the nuclear accident in Chernobyl and the devastating consequences it caused in the surrounding areas and to the residents. In Metro Exodus, the developers take us a step further as we find ourselves in the Moscow metro, where the few survivors have organized their lives in a way that radiation has not reached such high levels. Our character, Artyom, is surrounded by thoughts that on the surface and beyond the "safety of the Moscow metro," there are signs of human life. This will be your mission, along with the rest of the team and Artyom's companion, Anna, to search for other habitable places using the Aurora train. As you travel, you can see how meticulously the landscapes have been created before you reach your destination. On the downside, there are some bugs and sound issues, but they won't ruin your experience. Additionally, the loading times from saves are huge (about 4 minutes) regardless of the console. In conclusion, it's worth listening to the original soundtrack as it "ties in" with the whole scenery. An excellent game that will leave you emotionally charged throughout.

  Wrestling is a beautiful metro game. I have played the entire story 3 times and I would play it again, it is simply a stunning game. In all other games on the market, whenever you press a button it will always give you all the main quests and side quests, but in Metro you simply have a map all to yourself to explore. The day and night cycle that you can choose makes it the best because if you want to play a part of the map at night, it is nicer because the monsters come out and you have to be careful for them and the enemies. It is also so nice to enter a place and play it in the black night all stealth in the most difficult difficulty. Crafting is so impressive because Artyom (the main character) takes off his backpack, puts it down, and quickly crafts bullets and healing items, but of course it won't be as good as if you bought them from a store. Crafting in weapons is simply perfect because you can take a pistol and turn it into a homemade sniper. What other game can do that?

  If you ever consider buying it, I would recommend (necessarily) buying the first 2 games in the series so that when you play Metro Exodus, you can follow the story without asking who is this, what is this, and why is this man my father-in-law.

  The third installment continues to uphold the value of the series. Incredible graphics and enjoyable gameplay, although it could be even better. The game is open-world (or close to it), but this doesn't really matter since they didn't support it well, as the side missions are rather pointless. Essentially, the game is still somewhat linear.   At first, I thought it would be the same as the previous games in the series, and when I read negative reviews from some people, I expected the price to drop before buying it. In the end, it turned out to be a perfect game!
  The plot was fantastic!
  Finally, the hero and his team leave the Moscow Metro's underground (as the game's title suggests) to search for life on the surface. It has incredible weather conditions, mutated creatures!
  For me, it was the best in the series!

  Metro Exodus has always been a rigid, sometimes suffocatingly linear shooter, but now you have the opportunity to deviate from the beaten path, to search and explore. It is a limited freedom, limited by the size of the maps, but there is something refreshing about an open world that focuses more on detail than size. Every location the Aurora stops at feels exceptionally handcrafted, and the weather, atmosphere, and lighting change regularly as the story unfolds through the seasons, creating an excitingly diverse game.

  I consider it a good shooter for the experiences it aims to offer gamers.

  Their decision to finally change the scenery was very good (since in the previous 2 games you played in the same places consecutively), which added a great plus to the graphics and made it less monotonous. The semi-open world part they added was somewhat tiresome, as the movement with the vehicle was incredibly heavy and boring (but the places were interesting as I mentioned before), it had some incredibly emotional moments, otherwise, I wouldn't say it had crazy differences from the previous ones. Funny interpretations, more or less the same weapons, same battles (with much fewer monsters). A very enjoyable game for those who have been involved with the series in general. Same short duration. Definitely not worth 50 euros though.

First of all, since the day it was announced, I was eagerly waiting for its release to buy it (2 whole years), as I had already played the previous ones and the name Exodus excited me a lot. I just finished the game and I am so impressed that I am writing a review right away, something I have never done in such a short period of time after finishing a game, which says a lot! I will try to share my feelings with you, but you will only understand it properly by playing it yourself, as it knows how! Metro Exodus is one of the best games I have ever played, guys, seriously, because I have lost count. Don't listen to anything random, because the previous Metro games are among the most underrated games, but Metro Exodus came to change that and it's here to stay, the comparison with the previous ones is day and night! I have made many reviews for masterpiece games, and I dare say that you must play Metro Exodus and you will understand that it compares to anything, especially if you are a fan of this genre, don't expect anything, it is one of the most Suffocating Atmospheric and Revelatory games ever created! It doesn't envy anything, I have never seen its atmosphere anywhere in the last map, you will remember me, I personally sweated. The graphics are imposing because the game is so, so revealing, the sound is equally excellent, leaving you stunned in combination with the image.
