the best game I have ever played. Everything about how my country was with the best fighters and soldiers and assassins. The game overall is the best. It has a large map and a beautiful gameplay without ruining the assassin's greed era. By that I mean that the gameplay is so good and you can do a lot of assassin's creed stuff as you did in other older games. For people that say that there is no stealth they are braindead, if you use your assassin skills right you will not be noticed by anyone

However, it's definitely worth the money because it's the only game that has to do with our history. Additionally, the map is huge and in every city you meet new people whom you may have heard of from school. The graphics didn't impress me but they didn't disappoint me either. I believe it's a must-play game that you should play in order to learn a little better about Greek mythology

Did you find this review helpful?The second game after Origins, with the new formula of this well-known series by Ubisoft, and this time we are in a very familiar environment. Having completed the game 100% and the first DLC, Legacy of the First Blade, my opinion is that I had a good time and it kept me good company while I was watching something else on my second screen. It was worth the 20 euros I paid when I bought it, but it had quite a few negatives that seriously marked the overall picture.
On the positive side, the world is very beautiful, as usual in the series' games. You meet many classic familiar characters with nice representation. The Greek spoken by the characters is entertaining with its exaggerated Greek pronunciation. The core gameplay is quite good and keeps you engaged for hours (and we're talking about really many hours, 100+ if you want to do everything), and it has a lot of content for your money. It had some cute and funny moments in the story, and the protagonist (I played with Kassandra and generally recommend her, Alexios is somewhat bad) did a very good job in her performance. The weapons, armor, and their combinations, as well as the character's special abilities, keep the interest even if the basic loop of the game is often the same.
On the negative side, unfortunately, the plot and especially the ending are embarrassingly bad, both in terms of tone, often being non-serious or comedic, and in terms of characters, dialogues, and a simple story that is inferior to almost every previous one, and has very little connection to the title of the series we are playing (we don't even have a hidden blade?!?). The dialogue choices are very basic, and often you have a choice written in a different way, and the romance options and how many characters are attracted to you and fall for you in completely random moments are annoying and childish, as if written by teenagers. There is no serious connection to our character apart from the embarrassing bad thing that happens in the DLC, which I don't want to spoil, although I don't recommend anyone to play it as it makes the overall experience much worse, and it's better to remain with the curiosity.
In summary, the game, with the meaning of the word "game," does its job and one can have a good time, but if it didn't have the Greek wrapping and was set in another place with the same story, my opinion would be much worse, as nothing substantial remains beyond the surface...

Graphics, music, gameplay are amazing, although it took me some time to learn it. I just started the game and I have finished Kephallonia. As for the side quests, I took them all from the beginning before starting the story quests because they are necessary and without them, it is practically impossible to progress. However, I still haven't figured out how to upgrade weapons and moves. No matter what I do, I still struggle against hunters and it becomes tiresome. I will come back when I have a better understanding..

It's ridiculous that in Greece, no game has Greek subtitles, even though they are global games. It's a shame that there are no Greek subtitles, at least in general. Not specifically in this game, if it exists in some versions with Greek subtitles, personally, I didn't have them... Overall, it's a decent game, but it doesn't live up to my personal opinion, none of the old assassins

Did you find this review helpful?It is one of the best Assassin's Creed games simply because I prefer my game to be more RPG and not so much Stealth + it is set in ancient Greece in 340 BC, which is a great advantage for us Greeks. The sound of the game is very nice, especially the soundtrack, which is my favorite out of all the games. The graphics are very beautiful, with the mountains and forests being very green and detailed, and the sea being blue and enjoyable. The story of the game is AMAZING, it's like watching a movie... the boss fights are incredible, reminiscent of Dark Souls.
But why did I give it a 4/5? Because it requires a lot of GRIND. To complete a mission, you have to be at the appropriate level it asks for, and it is very, very, very difficult to level up (especially when I finished the 6th episode at level 22 and the next mission for the 7th episode required level 31, which forced me to do side missions and bounties to level up, which I found TERRIBLY boring and it ruined the flow of the story for me because it took me 3 days to level up 9 levels... If you are thinking of getting it, I will tell you one thing: IT REQUIRES A LOT OF GRIND

The things I particularly liked are the graphics, the gameplay, and the ancient Greek cities. What bothered me is the storytelling. The previous Assassin's Creed games I had played were 2 and Brotherhood, and unfortunately, in comparison, it doesn't even come close. Another thing I didn't like is the level grinding. No matter how many levels you increase, your opponents also level up with you, and at best, they will be 2 levels below yours. Maybe this is a positive thing for many because no matter where you go, no matter what level you are, there will always be difficulty. As a whole, it is a good game. I think it could have been shorter, I mean, I don't see the reason why it takes 50 hours to finish it when most of what you do is repetitive. But if you like the Assassin's Creed franchise and want to experience it in ancient Greece, I would highly recommend it. However, I can't give it 5 stars because it has its flaws, but it is a good game.
