  Probably the design of its blades is to blame, but it makes quite a noise even on the lowest setting (I measured it with my phone at 20db on the first setting at 2 meters distance). At least compared to an older fan I have, which has plastic blades but they are much wider than this one. Some people might not find this a problem of course (I've heard cases where they actually like this sound), but I mention it for those who are interested in having it as quiet as possible.

  Other than that, it is a quality construction, it is stable, and it definitely has a nice design.

  Although metallic, with very good quality materials and most importantly excellent power/noise ratio, it is not cheap compared to other similar capabilities, as it has no function other than the basic ones (rotary button with 3 levels and classic rotation lock button at the top of the motor), it is also relatively short for a stand fan. However, if you know exactly what you want and don't ask for a remote control, timers, natural/sleep programs, etc., there is no more BEAUTIFUL fan, if of course it is intended for points where design matters.
