The Asics Gel Kayano 25 has been constructed combining multiple technologies, including 2 new ones: FlyteFoam®, Propel & FlyteFoam® Lyte. This construction method provides extra protection and comfort.
This specific technology is one of the design philosophies of Asics, which uses elements to enhance the natural movement of the feet during motion, from the moment the heel touches the ground, until the moment the toes leave it.
This specific technology makes the shoe more comfortable and helps movement with reduced weight.
These two construction technologies enhance walking through the grooves they have and through the union of the front point of the foot with the back, respectively.
The Flytefoam Propel technology consists of an active foam compound that provides bounce thanks to an elastic bond.
The OrthoLite® X-40 technology is one of the antimicrobial technologies used by Asics in the insoles and ensures the comfort of the foot, as the porous design allows the foot to breathe by removing moisture, and due to its composition, without losing its shape over time.
This specific technology is a composition of a midsole that provides continuous shock absorption thanks to the organic fibers designed at the nanotechnology level.
Technology is a soft foot contact surface that enhances the feeling of comfort.
The FluidRide technology in the midsole provides support during walking while also offering comfort by keeping the overall weight low.
The Asics-Gel technology in both the front and back of the shoe effectively absorbs shocks during all foot transitions.
The AHAR+ technology of the outsole is a durable high-friction rubber that provides, among other things, increased shock absorption, assisting the natural movement of the foot.
The Fluidfit technology combines a specially designed mesh with other elastic materials that together stretch in multiple directions, embracing the foot.
The externally designed base for the heel creates a pocket providing improved foot support and protection of the Achilles tendon from injuries.

Guys, I weigh 195 kilos. Every 2 months I would change shoes and pay 350 euros for them, but they would do the same thing. I have had these shoes for 1.5 years and I wear them every day. BUT EVERY DAY. Firstly, they haven't opened anywhere. Secondly, because us heavy people tend to walk unevenly on the soles, most shoes wear out and the sole gets eaten away on one side. These shoes, after 1.5 years, are still in excellent condition. I also have the 26 kayano shoes which have the same durability exactly. Guys, I'm tired of wearing them. Now, if I see that they cost 1000 euros, I would buy them again. Honestly, you will enjoy them. My feet don't hurt anymore.
I would give them 5/5 but the fabric on the big toe ripped in 2 months. For a sports shoe that costs 180€, I find it unacceptable. I bought the new model and it's the same. The old models had thicker fabric and the stitching was in a spot that couldn't handle all the pressure. They have reduced the quality. As a shoe, it is a one-way street for wide-footed individuals and of course for any athlete who wants fantastic grip on their foot.
It does not hug the foot and is relatively bulky. In my case, without even running in them, they wore out in three months. I believe the Quantum 360s are four times more durable and attractive.
Whoever has worn Kayano doesn't change them, they are perfectly stable and ideal for those who have problems with their ankle, heel, arch, etc.
Comfortable, convenient although not so lightweight.
They have covered over 400 kilometers and the good construction - and materials - have proven themselves.
Although I am a fan of the saying "the runner makes the shoe", I think the Kayano have won me over, the next running shoe will be the 27.
One of the best running shoes I have ever worn in terms of durability, performance, and comfort. Very good balance, sturdy and lightweight construction, incredible shock absorption while running, and very good propulsion in walking. I highly recommend them especially for runners with overpronation tendencies (flat feet). For athletes with neutral or underpronation, in my opinion, the nimbus 21 is more ideal.
The fabric part of the shoe is defective and tore after 4 months of normal use, I didn't even run a marathon. It is unacceptable for a shoe that costs 180 euros to not be wearable after such a short period of time and for the company to disregard customer dissatisfaction.
Beautiful and comfortable with a very good fit. Comfortable for many hours of standing and walking. Now, when running, because it is low at the back, it irritates me a little above the heel (but the pants fit very nicely, we can't have it all in this life).
Very comfortable, for many hours of standing. Beautiful, lightweight, but they need attention as their fabric tears easily.
