Decent and sturdy for its price, but its tip is not thin enough, so the effectiveness of its performance depends on the size of the staples you want to remove, how deep they are inserted, and the material they are in. I tried to remove 12mm staples that were holding fabric on the underside of a sofa, and in most areas where there was wood underneath, the tool did nothing and I had to first loosen the staple with a flathead screwdriver or a knife. Once the staple was loosened, the tool did a good job. However, on its own, it could only remove the connectors if there was a soft enough padding underneath.
